Proximity to the airport was good. This is why we chose to stay.
The food and beverage service was a complete disaster. The staff were poorly trained and lost control of the customers paying for their meals and stopping some others to quiz whether they had paid. It was embarrassing to watch. I ordered my wife and myself a drink from the bar, only to receive one. I waited at the bar for a further 5 mins until I reminded the bar staff that I hadn’t been given my drink. He then realised his error and offered an obligatory apology.
When we were leaving our room at checkout, my wife received a phone call from reception at just after 10am. 10.04 to be precise asking when we intended leaving the room. I was in the car park loading our luggage into our car. This unnecessary call was intrusive and unnecessary.
I feel that we were overall treated quite poorly in all aspects of our stay. There are plenty of options around the airport for accommodation so we won’t be staying with you in the future.
We have used your hotel many times in the past but never had this poor experience before.

If you’re connecting in Sydney airport, this is THE place to stay. It’s the closest walkable hotel to Terminal 2 (domestic) from which you can catch the free shuttle bus service that runs between T1, T2 and T3. The free hot breakfast buffet is great 👍
The dinner menu is a little pricey… but there’s a McDonald’s, KFC, Krispy Kreme nearby

No emails were replied to including an email asking about the best railway station to go to from central. Non existence on communication.
The air conditioner was set to heat at 25 and I wasn’t able to breathe in the heat of the room and when I asked the staff to turn it down or reset it for me I was told there was nothing that could be done.
I was quoted a price and when I arrived I was charged an extra $5 and was told 2 different reasons by 2 different staff members.

Disappointed with restaurant. Had main which was good but when we ordered dessert just on 9.30pm (after waiting some time to get wait staff attention), they took our order but then came back to say that the kitchen was closed since 9.15 and they couldn’t serve dessert. Seemed ridiculous that they couldn’t cut a slice of cheesecake without the chef! They should have told us when we were seated that the kitchen would be closing.

We were in twin beds one had a large doona doubled up and the other a light blanket.
The head waiter was very rude and pushed us out of the restaurant as soon as he knew we were not ordering dessert.
