The rooms are very spacious. We were there on a day when the pub next door was closed - therefore had to drive 20km to get to the next town where restaurants were open. Everything was closed nearby and you cannot really walk much. We went to newgrange the next day and by car this was quite close. If you want to go to Newgrange this is a great location (and you have a car).

There was a camera in the kitchen, supposedly surveying? Not sure if it was switched on, but seemed a little strange...

Hot water didn’t work on the second day, couldn’t tell the staff as it seemed it was live karaoke night in the bar. The inn is next to a lively bar, walls are very thin. Friday night was fine, couldn’t really hear anything but if you are staying on a Saturday night, check if they have a live music night. Very loud (good) music till around 1am. I think would be an amazing night in the pub, not so great when trying to sleep next door.

The guy at the bar was really friendly!

The room needed a good cleaning,cobwebs everywhere and I counted 4 spiders!The bed was so uncomfortable,the quilt and pillow cases weren’t pressed,really badly creased and my bedside lamp didn’t work!
