Beautiful stone house situated in small village, very quite and serene surroundings, house is nicely decorated, with cozy terrace, jakuzzi and magificent view. Hosts are very friendly, we were greeted with bottle of wine and fruit basket.

Everything was great

The place is very quiet and peaceful, definately good choice if you're looking for close contact with nature and as little human interaction as possible (there's almost no neighbours and we also didn't see the host except for the check in and check out, even though thei live nearby). The property is decorated rather nicely and has a great view. Also a complimentary bottle of delicious wine was a nice touch upon the arrival.

Unfortunatelly the property looks better in the pictures than it does in the real life. Compared to the other properties availabe on the Pelješac it is definatelly overpriced. We've booked it for a weeks and around day 2 or 3 we were looking forward to the last day. The main issue were the various insects. We were unable to keep anything on the kitchen counter, because it would be immediately found by ants that got there by the crack between window and the wall. Also starting from the day 3 every day we'd find a centipede (or such, not really sure what creature that was exactly, but it was certainly gross) on the floor, mostly they were going for the bathroom, but one also got into the bedroom (we suspect they got in through a big crack under the unused door on the corridor). These centipede-like insects left this terrible smell, like unclean toilet - it was really hard to get rid of. On top of that there was a huge amount of wasps and bees flying around, making it really hard to have a peaceful breakfast outside. Once we also had some 'visitor' resembling a hornet (but we're not quite sure as we were to terrified to get closer to it and it fortunatelly left the room soon enough). The cherry on the top of the unwelcome guests was a snake, about half a meter long tops, but still almost caused us a heart attack, because it looked like the poskok. We found it in the evening, it was hanging next to the entrance door and it took as A LOT of time to encourage it to leave the door frame without getting into a too close interaction. Nevertheless from that moment on we were unable to step through the door without this disturbing feeling in the guts. As for the smaller inconveniences - the kitchen is really tiny and it was pretty difficult for 2 people to do something there at the same time. Also the storage space in the bathroom is really small. The other thing was the furniture in the living room - it was smelling heavilly of some freshener.

Personal touch to the accommodations. Friendly and accommodating host. Very peaceful setting, wished we could have stayed longer.
