Spectacular views and great hosts. The accommodation is very private surrounded by beautiful gardens. We watched the kids become more and more comfortable with patting and feeding the goats over the week with the generosityof Vickie and Ed. Having the goats so close made a big difference with keeping the kids (ages 2 and 4) entertained. It's only 10min to Mansfield and 30min to some great fishing on the Delatite just past Merrijig. Although the river at the bottom of the property (5min walk) also produced a few trout so the kids could be involved. We saw plenty of kangaroos, turtles and several echidnas up close. There's plenty of wildlife around. It would be great to go back and experience different seasons on the property including spring with the birthing of the goats and winter for the snowfields. aviewtoahill.com.au offers great value for money. We couldn't fault it.
