The staff was very friendly as were the other guests. Everyone was helpful and it was easy to make ourselves at home. Being able to park for free along side the hostel was a big plus for us.

The rooms and common areas were very clean except for the kitchen. The hostel clearly did not provide basic cleaning of the kitchen and guests were allowed to leave messes behind. We would have loved to spend time on the roof terrace but it was only for smokers. Walking into town was a bit of a walk at night but certainly doable.

Rooms weren't ready when we arrived late in the evening, bad was not cleaned even after preparing the room. The hostal is located really outside of pisac, which may you feel uncomfortable walking home in the evenings.

the staff were stoned the whole time, which made communication slow and difficult. also the quiet hours were absolutely not kept to, there was loud techno music all through the very noisy hostel from 9:00 am until 5:30 in the morning. because it’s allowed to smoke inside the entire hostel smelled like weed and smoke all day.

Beautiful setting and amazing facilities- great rooftop that overlooks the river and mountains, movie room, chill area, friendly staff & hot showers!

Bedding had some funky stains and room a little unclean. People making loud noises/ speaking loudly until pretty late

This place got a nice kitchen, a lots of space for enjoying yourself and others. It is good distance from the center, and got the most beautiful rooftop view!

The kitchen was pretty much a mess often. But that, I think, is more up to the people using it to take care and clean after themselves :)

I loved my stay at the El Parche Rutero hostel!! It is definitely in my top best stays during my travels. The place is calm, colourfully decorated, quiet, has great views on the valley,... The shared kitchen, the bathroom and everything was clean. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Great vibe, I recommend!

It was okay. I didn’t hate it, but I would not recommend it unless you are a solo traveler looking for shared space at a cheap price with good showers.

Very cold atmosphere. There is a rooftop, but it doesn’t have many plants and feels cold too. There was overuse of cleaning products and/or dust because the whole time I was sneezing and then when I left I was fine. Hospitality was not the Peruvian high standard I am used to where they go above and beyond to make you feel at home and have a relaxed atmosphere to make sure you have everything you need. It was almost impossible to relax here. The spaces for doing yoga were small and in odd areas where you have to move furniture. I think it was fine for travelers paying a very low fee in shared dorms, but for a private room and bathroom area with a comfortable space and opportunity to meet with others and share space, there are much better options around this town.

The atmoaphere in the hostel is really great. Many nice people, great staff, friendly people around. The hostel is great situated just at the river, with big roof terrace. The place is very light and here is a lot of common space to share and to be alone if you need :)

When I arrived bere, there was jot hot water in the shower, but the problem was fixed very fast :).

Lovely friendly staff. The common rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. It felt like a yoga retreat. Breakfast was very carefully prepared and served. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was dark and. Windowless. THe second day the hot water ran out.
