Beautiful home and lovely hosts. Very comfortable stay. Gorgeous view.
You do need a car for this location as you are up high with a view over the lake and city. Only 7 min drive to downtown.

What an amazing B&B. It is not about the amenities, it’s about the people that open their home and hearts. Stayed 2 nights in the most comfy beds/room i’ve ever stayed in and felt like family when we left. Great help with anything you need in Rotorua. Breakfast was amazing, meeting other guests from all over the World.

Ron & Leslie are amazing hosts and their property is quite lovely. They have done an amazing job making their place a sanctuary for travelers looking for somewhere beautiful to stay in Rotorua. They are lovely people and I wish we would have had more time to spend with them while we were there.

A beautiful clean & spacious apartment with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The bed was so comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony with the great views. The breakfast provided was varied, a nice mix of fruit, cereal, bread and eggs. Lots of lovely teas to try plus a coffee pod machine. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend 100%

Amazing views from our private patio (we stayed in the self-contained apartment) and beautifully furnished place. Every little detail had been thought of. We had a really friendly welcome from Ron & Leslie and they had filled our kitchen with everything we needed for our stay.
It's not really something we didn't like, but something that might put others off; it seems like a random location, but don't be put off, as there is plenty of parking and Ubers are easy to get into town if you don't want to drive.

Ron and Lesley were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful and provided us with everything that we needed. The room was adequate for our needs. On the whole we enjoyed our stay at Karanda BnB and thank you to our hosts.
The room was a bit stuffy, would have loved some air-conditioning, however a fan was provided. It was also a bit small but as we did not spend very much time at our accommodation, that did not bother us too much. Having said that we were welcome to use the common facilities.

Ein sehr nettes Gastgeberpaar hat sich um uns bemüht. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf den See ist sensationell- braucht man nicht mit der Gondel fahren!
Die Zimmer waren nicht abschließbar und relativ klein.

The place has a great view from the garden and Lesly and Ron were super friendly and helpful in finding our way around. As it is a bit remote (you need a car or bike) it was very silent. We would definitely come back.

A beautiful home with lovely hosts. We had comfort, privacy, and amazing views of Rotorua with the steam rising from the ground. The hosts were a delight: we had great conversation over breakfast!

The view was spectacular!!! We were upgraded to an apartment and it was wonderful! I would definitely go back. I wish I could keep the location to myself and not share it with the public.
Parking was a challenge but Ron was very helpful with the situation.

Ron and Lesley are a very warm-hearted and humorous couple. Much appreciate Ron helps me with my luggage. As a NEW driver here that I’m not familiar with driving rules, tell me useful tips. The room was comfortable and warm, the breakfast was good, and they introduced the interesting local attractions. We had a great two days!

we were upgraded to an apartment--so we had a bedroom, huge bath with spa tub, a living room with fireplace and a full kitchen with a washing machine. the hosts provided us with a variety of fruit, cereals, bread, butter, honey, homemade jam, milk and juice. as well as coffee and hot coco. they were very nice and helpful, recommending things to see.
