The cottage was lovely and cosy with many fantastic traditional features.The location was great being so close to the town centre,and Settle is a wonderful place with amazing buildings,shops,pubs,views and walks straight from the front door.

Front door locking from the inside was difficult and lock stuck - this maybe needs looking at?

Location was brilliant. Central if walking but optional places to drive to. Talbot pub was very friendly and welcoming. April Cottage has been beautifully renovated, exceptionally clean, kitchen very well equipped, cottage is well furnished, very clean and lovely to stay in,

Parking...... I understand it can't be changed due to the location, understand it is vary narrow lanes and very steep but I really struggled with a mini countryman. I wonder if its possible for a parking permit in the town which is only minutes away. There was a mix up with our arrival which had to be delayed while we contacted the booking service. It was however sorted quickly and we were given an allowance to pay for a meal and drink.

settle is a nice town and it’s centrally located - the cottage has all the facilities you’d expect

the location is tricky and parking tight - it’s on three floors so not easy to get around inside what’s the most important and also ridiculous is that there is a 1700 hrs access on day one and 0900 check out - with all the covid extra cleaning it doesn’t take 8 hrs to clean a very small house !! especially when it’s c £200 / night that just isn’t good value for money and if you have booked only one night you only get it for 16 hrs !!

The late get in and early departure

Very comfortable accommodation and well equipped.

There was a parking space for our vehicle but it was made very hard to get our small vehicle into the space due to someone occupying space for cottage next door which was fine but a further car was parked on the opposite side of the road. This put our vehicle at risk of being damaged by passing traffic with the road being so narrow. Neither of these vehicles moved for the length of our stay.
