Central in the town Very clean

The photos online do not match the room. The deciding factor to pay almost $180 for one night in this room, versus another property, was the view shown and discussed in the images/ one bedroom apartment description. Instead of having a balcony, which was clearly shown and then stated via symbol on the room, my friend and I got a bottom room with no balcony. There was also a random car parked in front of our room. I asked for a room with single beds as shown in photos, but was advised via email (which I missed- that’s on me), that it was an extra $40 if we wanted linen for the fold out couch in the room. Single beds were not available in the room booked. I wouldn’t have paid an additional $40 for sheets even if I had seen the email- seems a bit excessive for a sheet? I spoke to reception upon checking out and was advised we needed to ask for a room with a balcony and view, and for the sheet for the pull out bed. I questioned the balcony? The reception lady and I looked at the booking.com advert and concluded that it clearly states it in the advert that there is a balcony & patio,, along with photos showing this too. Apparently the photos for the one bedroom rooms were all mixed up with two bedroom apartments too, so not correct. It also showed rooms with single beds, also two bedroom apartments- hence why we had to pay $40 for a sheet for the fold out couch. Lastly, You can hear the people next door and upstairs. They were not loud, it was just talking, but they were auditable. With that said, it was very clean and tidy. Reception lady super polite and said she would see about getting the booking.com advert updated. On that, there was No offer of a discount on this visit or if we stayed again, despite clarifying the false advertising and, I didn’t ask or push for it. Figured we will stay elsewhere next time.

I really liked the size of the apartment. The kitchen and living space was good and meant I could cook if I wanted to. It was walking distance to everything which was great. Nice balcony space as well.

No door on the bathroom, didn't bother me too much given I was travelling by myself, just a little odd.

Coral bay is a nice little town with a beautiful beach where you can just park your car & walk everywhere. The room has everything you need in the way of a kitchen, bed & a table. Its a good size with a balcony out the front, ocean glimpses through the parks trees. Upper floors would probably have a bit more of a view but it doesn't matter so much when you've spent the day down the beach & wanna get out of the sun.

All the seats around our table were covered in beach sand & the room is right up the back of the caravan park. Its pretty pricey for what it is but I guess supply & demand sets the price high. I'll be up that way again but will look at other options even if they're a little more expensive. At the end of the day your probably lucky to get a booking anywhere in the busy months.

Very convenient place, quiet location but in proximity of the food area and the beach. I decided to stay one night longer than originally planned, absolutely recommendable!
