Very nice area

location

A very cute older style apartment. Very clean and Location is perfect. 1 street back from the Marina area. Beautiful view from the courtyard between buildings. There was set of steps to another level higher with another courtyard which I'm sure the view would have been amazing but the railing was a bit wobbly so we were not game enough to venture up there. Antonella is lovely and left us a homemade tart, sweet buns, snacks, juice, milk, coffee, tea, sugar and a large bottle water which was very much appreciated as we arrived late in the arvo and wasn't sure if we could find a shop to buy breakfast goods. (even though breakfast is not usually included.) She also offered us a bottle of wine from her wine shop close by which we declined as we don't drink wine but it was lovely to be offered. There was everything you needed in the kitchen to cook if you wanted to but we didnt. There is also a small washing machine and soap powder so it was great to be able to wash a few clothes.

The internal stairs from the ground level up to the apartment are very narrow and steep. We had big suitcases which were very heavy so it was very difficult to carry these up and down. Only a couple of small things which would make people more comfortable are, a full size mirror, railings to hang towels and some more glasses to drink beer or spirits from. (Unfortunately there was only 2 small glasses which we used for water in the bedroom and 1 wine glass) I'm guessing one wine glass was broken by a previous tennant and overlooked by the cleaner) The water hose from the airconditioning drips right outside the door that leads to the courtyard so everytime you step outside you step into water. Perhaps the hose can be extended and positioned to drip into the garden. The shower door in the bedroom did not close properly so water went onto the bedroom floor but we noticed there was no exhaust fan in there so we guessed this was deliberate.

Perfect stay for a couple, the house is so nice and the location very quiet and yet close to the best restaurants. It also has two terraces, two showers and air conditioning. On arrival Antonella gave us a bottle of wine, a homemade cake and other food for breakfast, we really appreciated that :)

Great location, close to the most important attractions. Local delicacies were waiting for us on the spot: cake, wine and fruit. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Cleanliness

I really liked the corner where the property is located. It is peaceful and quiet but in a great location. From the window you can see the sea. The flat has everything you could possibly need during your stay. Also, it was very clean. The owner - Antonella is very nice and helpful. There were no problems in picking up the keys or contacting her. When I was leaving Antonella gave me a lift to the train station! This was a very nice touch at the end.

Even though our flight had a delay of over one hour and half, which made us arrive at the accommodation past 21:00, which is after the check-in time, we were still allowed to do so. There was a delicious local tart for breakfast as well as coffee, and a big bottle of water. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable and it was rather quiet at night. It has a nice rustic feeling to it. Location is good, around 10 minutes from the train station and 5-10 minutes from the port.

A lot of sun goes in in the morning and there's no way to block it. Communication was quite difficult since the owner doesn't speak English, especially with the stress of our flight being heavily delayed, but in the end it worked out okay.

Excellent location and fantastic value for money, loved the cake and wine mentioned by others in the reviews. The apartment was spotless, had all the amenities required including towels and toiletries.

Being picky the sofas were uncomfortable and one had a broken spring which was an unexpected surprise to sit o.

We felt very welcomed, even a sweet pie was waiting for us. What a lovely apartment, great location, very cosy kitchen/living room with sofas and lots of teas. Beautiful view from the bathroom and bedroom window. Great shower.

The only thing I can think of, seeing the very equipped kitchen with pots and pans, it would have been nice if a little bottle of olive oil (or otherwise these little olive oil sachets) or some salt and pepper were there.

Lovely house near the center of Brindisi with all necessary amenities, located close to everything you may need, with nice old furniture, two bathrooms and four beds. Super friendly and helpful hosts (thanks for the excellent bottle of wine!), picturesque area and very convenient roof terrace to spend your evenings on. Will definitely come back at some point.

Antonella prepared a breakfast for us, with milk, fruits, and an Italian Pie !!! Also a bottle of wine !! Very very good surprise !!

I really like the place. Its cozy and its very good situated. The host gave us a bottle of wine. The breakfast was good.

The location was perfect for us and her mother had made a homemade cake for our breakfast which was lovely. The apartment was very quirky and we enjoyed the architecture. It was very clean and the bed was very comfy.

The terrace ladder took some getting used to but once up there it was lovely

Great area, easy access to harbour, host was lovely and left us fruit, a tart, water, coffee, tea, milk and wine. Ideal for a few days and if you're only using it as a base. We spent most of our time out and about and with family sonwas really on somewhere to sleep. Go to wine shop for key to get in.

Bathroom could have been cleaner, even with keeping windows closed still got loads of mozzies(got bitten to death) Sofas uncomfortable. TV no signal and wifi only in lounge. Harbour view only from small bathroom window and no outside seating which would have been nice.

We booked 2 different apartments as we were 5 people. Turned out we could have made it work with only one of them as it was quite spacious. Both had the open minded Venetian architecture with many rooms here and there and terraces. We liked the location as it was right in the middle of the Old town but easy to park also. We also got a nice discount in the Wine store nearby. The host has prepared some pie for us, as well as refreshments and water. All in all, a good experience.

The bigger apartment on the first floor had a nasty smell from the drainage system. It seems this is the situations with most of those old houses. The upper apartment had no such issue. Both were, however, not cleaned properly, especially the bathrooms - had some leftover hair from previous guests here and there.

We booked this apartment because of its location and for having a high rating score on Booking.com and it certainly did not let us down. The place felt homely, and it was spotless, with attention to detail. The hosts were lovely and welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a delicious home-baked cake. Highly recommended!

It was just amazing! Antonella is an amazing human being and a super host. There was everything, prepared breakfast, coffee, milk, buns, a whole homemade cake and a bottle of nice red wine. Antonella was also very helpful to give me the number of Angelo, who picked me up from the airport in the middle of the night. He had the keys and the check in at 12 at night was easy and very welcoming. Thanks again Elisabetta and see you soon hugs Heike

the location of this property is right in the harbour! Few steps away from the waterfront, overlooking from the terrace. Host lady was very nice and even treated us with delicious cake made by her mom.

Owner doesnt speak english In the 3rd day we had to leave the apartment because there were a lot of cockroaches. Until now the owner doesnt want to refund remainings days and stop communicate despite she promised me. Bed is uncomfortable and in summer time there is too hot In bathroom is huge smell from canal Wifi doesnt work
