Dirty pool, not the most helpful staff and the worst part there was a roach walking on my bed when I went to go to sleep. Couldn't sleep that great thinking the roach will crawl on me , then it crawled on the bottom bed

BREAKFAST WAS EXELLENT ONE OF THE BEST ( INCLUDIED ) I HAVE HAD IN COLOMBIA ! LOTS OF OPTIONS FOR A FREE BREAKFAST MENU !

NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THE ROOMS FROM 8 AM TO 8 PM !! SO THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN SLEEP IN OR TAKE A NAP 😴 TO REST FOR THOSE 12 HOURS , ITS JUST WAY TO HOT 🥵 .AND THERE IS NO WHERE TO GO ON THE PROPERTY TO KOOL OFF.

The rooftop restaurant bar is really nice with affordable food options. Personal fans for the bed were great. Nice breakfast.

The staff is awesome. I'm terrible with names, but the evening bartender/manager is so welcoming, with her big smile and positive energy. (And also a great voice - wea!aaa had an impromptu sing along night with my nephew on guitar.) The property: Peaceful terrace, hostel kitties, the kitchen is well equipped, refreshing pool, quick laundry service, small tiendas & carjeros nearby, and 3-5 minutes to the malecón. The included breakfast was simple but good. I'm returning to Riohacha and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Really nice hostel in riohacha, it's a 5 min walk to the beach, there's a pool in the hostel and a nice rooftop bar

The Place is very nice an clean and Silent. They have a nice breakfast.

Unfortunately they forgot my booking after I came back from la Guajira again. So i had to look for another hostel. But what was good is that they said sorry! :-) mistakes can happen to everybody.

The location is good as it is like 3 blocks from the beach and the main street. The swimming pool was enjoyable but it is rather small and some pieces were falling part. The female janitor was one of the few staff members that was attentive to the customers needs. Thank you for your coffee!

Sadly, the breakfast is always the same with no variety at all. After a few days, it gets old pretty fast. While the pool is enjoyable, rooms are right in front of it so it can gets pretty loud during the day and evening. We inquired about changing room, and they wanted to charge us more while the other room we would be moving to was cheaper than the room we reserved. There was no desire to help customers. This leads to the the main problem, which lies in good customer service, or lack of. The attention at the breakfast restaurant is subpar: the attendant made a mistake in the order and remove the fruits after serving them and realizing it was a mistake. It was the fist time I saw a staff member removing food from the table with no mistake on our own! While the hostel offers laundry services, the laundry is rather on the expansive side and one of our towels came back with blue spots on it, showing they did not care about what clothes were in the washer at the time.

Amazing staff, esp Jan the receptionist guy. Wonderful facilities. Amazing breakfast. Private dorm beds. Great location. Highly recommend!

great place to spend one night before doing the 3 days tour in la Guajira. I loved the terrace on the rooftop and food and drinks excellent. The room was big and the bed comfortable also with a big flat TV

there were mosquitos in the room and the room is quite noisy until 10pm as next to the pool where music plays very loud until 10pm

Rooms in need of some maintenance. Some rooms are really noisy because shared bathroom is just right beside them.

Nice hostel with backpacker amenities. Air con in 6 bed dorm good temperature. Staff friendly. Good breakfast and not that big a deal to have to go to the partner hotel to eat. Hostel was full but quiet and well organized. Pool ok. Used fridge in kitchen but didn't cook Upstairs sitting area, bar.. Good Wi-Fi. Luggage storage.

Very friendly staff and happy to help. The pool was nice and the brekfast was excellent!!! I also liked the location and the orgasations of tours to Punta gallinas.

Since there's a pool in the center of the hostel, the rooms can be very humid and dirty all day long. But I still recommend this hostel.
