The breakfast was gourmet style, really well presented, but to be honest I would have preferred a more hearty start to the day

At breakfast we noticed a new recruit was being trained by the host, unfortunately it disrupted our early morning relaxing time, the host was very demanding and made the new starter feel so nervous and inadequate (In my opinion)

Everything was lovely, great host, great staff, lovely room with fine furnishings and a wonderful shower. The lounge is really well set up and is very stylish.

Nothing negative about Riverside. Have nothing to fault

The B&B was a quiet space on what felt like the edge of town. It was only 5 minutes down to the harbour and the fish and chip shop (which did gluten free fish and chips!). They had gluten free bread and were happy to juggle the cooked breakfast so that there were foods that were okay for me to eat. Unfortunately they didn't have diary free spread (or marmite) but it was February and I had brought my own. The room had a quiet simplicity with high thread count cotton sheets. It was warm, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. The kettle in the room was welcome. Because I was passing through, I didn't try any of the communal areas but I have no doubt they would have been clean, warm and comfortable. There was convinient B&B parking out front. Not sure how many rooms there were but it looked sufficient for the number of people staying.

The previous person who had used my room had uninstalled the settings on the TV so I was unable to watch it. I didn't appriciate being blamed for the uninstalling by the male owner. I found him quite brusk. His wife was lovely.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were lovely and clean, and the breakfast was wonderful! It was great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again!

We’ll run b&b, cosy with a comfortable residents lounge. There was a choice of breakfasts including vegetarian. It’s a 5 minute walk to the centre of town where you’ll find restaurants etc, although in February the choice was limited.

Although the bedrooms were cosy I found it difficult to regulate the heat output of the radiators but better too warm than too cold.

Everything was easy - check in, comfortable bed, breakfast very Scottish with many choices, check out was simple, all staff were friendly and helpful, property was clean with all amenities. Charlie made everything seamless with good recommendations for places to eat.
