If it had air conditioning it would be perfect

We were met at the property by a friendly and helpful representative of the owner, who welcomed us and showed us around.

Only one WC in the property. With some minor redesign, the existing WC could be reconfigured to include a shower, and an additional WC could be installed in the en suite, replacing the bidet.

The Villa Cade has the most magnificent view one can imagine. The apartment is extremely well appointed, everything has been made over and one would think that the premises are totally new. To get there is at first a bit difficult but any navigation system will do the trick. The owners, who live on the premises (below), couldn't be nicer, more forthcoming and more discreet. The pool and the surrounding area are absolutely wonderful. It is close by car both to St. Maxime (8 min.), as to Les Issembres (15 min.) and the beaches between those two towns.

Beautiful views from balcony really makes this villa special. Jacques and Evelyn were really good hosts, and ensured we had the best possible holiday. We arrived on our first night really late, and Jacques kindly offered to meet us enroute so we didn’t need to try to find the house in the dark at 1am.... a very nice touch. As a family of four with two young kids, the villa was very well equipped with everything we needed - plenty of towels, bedding, cutlery, crockery etc. plus a big fridge freezer. We loved sitting out on the balcony at night, watching the boats in the bay whilst playing board games (supplied in the villa). The pool and garden area is exceptionally well maintained and very clean with good quality sun loungers and large sun shades. We arrived during a heatwave (38 degrees) and although there was no air conditioning, there were large fans which were fine (and Jacques and Evelyn regularly checked we were comfortable offering extra fans). Villa les Cades is a little gem - we had a very relaxing fortnight and highly recommend this area and accommodation.
