The villa was spot on with a fabulous bathroom. The pool and surrounding area felt luxurious and the entire hotel was really peaceful and quiet. The staff were really attentive and helpful.
The beach! It was full of debris from the sea, of course not the hotels responsibility, but it was impossible to enjoy.
Its a shame that the hotels in the vicinity don't work together to take improve this blot on an otherwise beautiful location.

Staff and facilities and the location
Breakfast - very disappointed as some of the very basic items stated were not available when at breakfast.
For example, there were approx 3 types of cereal that were listed, but only cornflakes were available.
4 types of juices were listed, and only 3 were available.
Menu stated string hoppers. Again, it was not available at breakfast.
If items are unavailable, why include them in the menu provided to the guests!!!
We stayed for 3 nights, and the breakfast choice for all the days was the same!

Very little staff. Only one therapist at the spa. Little or no service near pool area

Beautiful setting with the pool area and room about the best we experienced on our tour of Sri Lanka.
Only downside was a slight lack of personal touch and despite the buffet food being lovely there was very little atmosphere in the dining area

Clean and comfortable ocean view villa. The staff is always open for suggestions, they will go above and beyond for your requests. Talk to them about your experience and expectations, this is important given that they are freshly starting up the business under the Amaya concept. Pool is nicely warm! Garden people make sure the full garden is clean daily! Lobster and beef (upon reservation) are definitely recommended!
Ocean is very rough, you can't swim (october 2022), cocktails could use some improvement but are not expensive either. Staff not 100% trained to serve international people. I felt regularly neglected as a Western woman, communication still focused a lot on males and not equally on females. They should learn from this, but we understand that this takes time and extra training

The villas are tranquil and calm place. very friendly staff and very supportive in every area inside the hotel. the hotel food was very delicious. I recommended this place to couples and families.
wifi connection is not powerful enough in this area. but it's good.

Old bed and broken buggy. Had to walk in the rain with our luggages to check out. Other than that it was an ok stay

Great service all around. The food was great and place was well kept. Easy drive from colombo and right by a beach.
There was small issue with privacy as the golf cart. That was taking passengers to and from their rooms was right outside our porch.

Great location and can be reached with less than an hours drive from Colombo. The staff were simply amazing, very courteous and highly efficient. Also, the food was very tasty.
They need to focus more on their menu/offering. The menu indicated a grilled half chicken but what was served was just 2 pieces of grilled chicken breast. Also, the portions were at times generous and at times meagre.

We loved the food with even better service from the staff
Everyone is happy and makes an effort to make conversation.
Our room was comfortable,clean and everything you need for your stay.
Will be back if ever in Sri Lanka again
