super Lage und wunderschöne Wohnung wir wollten gar nicht wieder weg ❤️

I have stayed in apartments all across Europe and this one is right up there as one of the best. Suzanne, our host, is charming and made us feel extremely welcome when handing over the key, supplying us with useful information regarding the apartment and the nearby attractions. The apartment is spacious, incredibly clean throughout and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds are large and very comfortable and there is plenty of hot water for showering. The location in a quiet side street is perfect and allowed for a great night's sleep, yet is only a few minutes walk from the main square with its delightful cafés and restaurants. If you're looking to stay in Alkmaar, then look no further than this fabulous apartment.

Location was great and the view from the deck was beautiful.

Location is perfect.

Spacious, bright, clean and very comfortable. We really appreciated the dimmable lights, Nespresso machine and the terrace (although it was a bit too cold to use it when we visited). There is a lovely bakery on the next street over, great for breakfast pastries, a lot of good pubs and restaurants, and a big supermarket on the way from the train station. We took the train into Amsterdam every day and it could not have been easier - just tap in and out with a card.

There are a few things that could have made it better, but they are fairly minor! For instance, it would have been useful to have more plugs especially in the bedrooms, and more coat hooks by the door. It would also be great if the internal stairs were carpeted as they are very steep and very slippery.

Great location for shopping and restaurants. Very peaceful at night. The apartment was spotless. Very good communication with Suzanne.

No washing machine.

Beautiful flat with everything you require. All attractions within walking distance.

Shower curtain requires attention.

The City, its a nice place and the people are very friendly.

Parking space so small for my car.

Perfect owners. Everything clean, fully equipped, modern, directly located in the old city,... wonderful terrasse

Nothing really to complain. Stairs maybe quite steep for 60+.
