We were traveling two weeks in Pataginia and of all the hotels we stayed in, we most remember our stay at Ilaia Hotel. Hector at the reception is such a nice and helpful man and we immediately felt welcome! Breakfast is unforgettable, because we were welcomed in the morning by such a nice lady who served us a fantastic breakfast. Everything homemade and fresh and and we could tell everything was prepared with love. The meditative, relaxing music in the background creates a beautiful atmosphere. The room is spacious, cosy with nice lighting, modern and super clean and it is apparent that the hotel owners are very conscious about the environment. Punta Arenas is a small town and we could easily walk to the center - great location. What can I say... Ilaia is a beautiful hotel and our nice experience there will be unforgettable.

There are many great things to say about the place, but first and foremost the lovely staff that welcomes you warmly and with great love. In addition, the place is decorated with high warmth and coziness that give a homely feeling. There is a free coffee corner and there is also a roof top overlooking the city where you can sip free wine. Comfortable, quiet, wonderful friendly staff, and amazing breakfast. Good wifi, tho it wasn't great in rooms at the back but was good in the rest of the hotel. They also helped us out of a jam from a rescheduled flight. I'd highly recommend the Hotel Ilaia and will book again if I'm back in Punta Arenas!

The great epic breakfast, the hospitable host, the comfortable accommodation, the space to relax in the dining room (with hot water and variety of tea bags: help yourself, handy for sitting writing letters or a diary, say) rooftop room with view over the town. There is space to park cars next to the building. (We had a hire car.) The centre of town with its shops and sea front is a short walk away.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Bed was large and comfortable. Very relaxing place after hiking in Torres del Paine and the rooftop with included red wine was a great place to relax at night.

Great location. It was quiet and comfortable, and had a very calm vibe that was really appreciated after a week of hectic travel. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful!

This is a warm and friendly hotel. The decor simply eases any travel stress you might be experiencing. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was superb.

Hotel Ilaia is a gem! It is a beautiful little hotel, with lots of thoughtful and nice touches. Our room was very comfortable and very nice. The hotel has an eagles nest room with amazing 360 degree views of Punta Arenas. The hotel staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel!
