The booking process - the description for this property is thoroughly misleading. It was not expressly stated that aside from the accommodation cost, one has to pay extra for the club's hefty registration fee, else totally forfeit access to the booked room and any advertised amenities. Booking.com was not upfront and sends the separate advisory only when the property is fully booked, trapping the customer with the full cancellation fee. This is false advertising to the highest degree! Booking.com, you have to revise your description for this listing and a couple of other ads related to this property.
You can get top resort-like amenities elsewhere for substantially less.

The owner was very helpful. We went on a vacation scheduled on a long holiday and got caught up in traffic upon entry to the property but got in quickly thanks to the owner. The caretaker was also helpful to us. The unit was very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Pico de Loro seemed to be very crowded this time that the beach and pool looks like a public beach or pool. This is my 4th visit .I hope they put a limit to the new condos being constructed to protect the nature around. If this can't happen since it's business for the developer, well at least add more swimming pools and swimmable beach area( free from corals and rocks) . Restaurants should be added two apart from that inside the hotel and that facing the pool . We had to wait a bit for the food to be served complete.

The room is equipped and clean
The rate specified on the email was different on the actual charges we paid and the restaurant is only open for 11 am onwards so no breakfasts available in the restaurants and very limited choices

There should be social distancing but cant help it when you have people loaded in 2 buses from a company outing. Was not able to enjoy nor feel safe after they came.

Nothing its just like a normal apartment
“ Staff are just doing their job” , that part I can understand. But to question the guests as if we are doing a crime is so rude! Specially when you are trying to relax on a staycation.
We rented 2 units at Carolo Units in Hamilo Coast Pico de Loro via booking.com. It was a mistake that we had a last minute check-in . So we accepted the long cue at the registration gate whilst its raining. Security is tight which is good . But really questioning guests as if they are doing illegal things are so rude! Considering the privacy of the guests are also being invaded. This was really our worst staycation experience ever! Worst staff coordination ! Making guests do their job on coordination . Once registration is done , the staff should organize themselves instead of the guests . Imagine we registered and coordinated accordingly with the owner / agent via booking.com already . But still we need need to repeat over and over again to the reception of Carola Units all the registrations and guests details many times . To the point that they have to literally invade our privacy whilst the family is having dinner . I can’t get over to that experience when we are so tired from our flights and due to their lack of proper coordination with their own staff and agent/ owner , we guests have to suffer . They literally send a guard to check and do a headcount . And they literally woke us up in the middle of the night just to check and do a headcount . We admitted our mistake to have let our driver stay with us in the unit for our convenience and in case of emergency so he can drive for us urgently. But we actually paid for the driver’s quarters . It just happen that the location is quite far and inconvenient for us guests. Because we have to call the driver and let him drive if we have urgent matters or emergency . Which is another inconvenient in this facilities.
Bottomline our family staycation is ruined , we can’t really enjoy that much since we felt not welcomed here .
