What a lovely little hotel! Everything is decorated with a lot of love and the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff and the owners of the hotel were very sweet and helpful, organising a taxi to the airport and communicating with us before our arrival. The food was also very tasty. At our arrival, when the owner realised we only booked a second night so that we could freshen up in the evening before driving to the airport, she offered us the breakfast after the first night, which we thought was a lovely and kind gesture. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Galle.

The most memorable feature of this beautifully curated and remarkable small boutique hotel is the warmth and friendliness of owners Maneyika and Charles. The staff and service levels are exemplary and the breakfasts, ordered directly off the a la carte menu, especially delicious and accompanied by Maneyika’s own handmade croissants, baked freshly for you. Oh, and the best coffee, yes truly, in all Sri Lanka. Take note that this charming little place is in the heart of a colorful heritage neighborhood and strict limits are imposed on what can and cannot be done in converting the building into an hotel. Please don’t come with expectations of luxury hotels with all the trappings and expect instead the feeling that you are an honored guest in the company and home of genuine and creative friends.

Our bedroom was perhaps a little dark but that is outcome of restrictions imposed on a heritage building project and the rest was just perfect.

The hospitality of the owners was true hospitality! They made me feel like a long time family friend and took their time to chat with every single guest, you don't see that everywhere anymore! The decor of the room was super cute. And the bed was very comfortable.

The WIFI wasn't working properly, probably due to the telecom situation when I was there. But the owner came out and apologised and took action immediately.

The owner. The decor with the puppets. Breakfast one of the best in Sri Lanka (and competition is fierce). Better internet than most places in Sri Lanka. Unlike some guesthouses, they actually use their reserve generator during power cuts.

Good location in the middle of the fort,, beds are confortable, hosts are nice. The guesthouse communicates a lot with you before which is quite appreciable (giving some information so you cannot be disappointed by the size of the room, the fact there's no door btw bathroom and bedroom. It's important to know before booking indeed)

It's a great place but a bit overrated - the space is quite humid in the backyard, breakfast is not that good (we had the "french breakfast"). It's nice but I was expecting more confort.

This boutique hotel is just perfect and is a gem in the middle of Galle Fort. Not to be missed. The hosts Maneyika and Charles are amazing, kind, friendly and so knowledgeable about the area. This was our second time to visit and we shall return. Thank you so much Maneyika and Charles.

best location in the fort! Walking distance to amazing restaurants, adorable boutiques, lighthouse! The breakfast was delicious, we throughly enjoyed the English breakfast and amazing crepe! Owned by a really nice couple who were very welcoming to us! Room was lovely!

Maneyka and Charles are lovely hosts. Helpful and friendly. Location is perfect. Rooms are super cozy. Close to fort and market. It has many restaurants around. One can easily walk around and explore. Tuk tuks are right there too. My stay was very comfortable. Will be back for sure

Le Jardin Du Fort was special and unique a small boutique hotel set in the heart of the fort location was perfect . the staff where amazing very attentive and most of all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was varied with a very good selection to suit all guests,. We would 100% recommend Le Jardin de Fort as the go to hotel in Galle and cannot wait to return

Lovely Maneyika, smart, attentive, economic - the soul of this place, she did everything to make it a special point of hospitality in Fort. We felt as at home, or visiting good friends. We will definitely stay there again if we are in Galle. The breakfast is great and fun.

Unique hotel in great location. Extremely helpful and warm owner/host who made our stay exceptionally welcoming and comfortable. Delicious breakfast outdoors. Very good air conditioning in rooms. Galle Fort area is great fun and we will definitely stay here again on our return visit next year.

Noisy in the mornings, our room was above the breakfast area. Fridge was not very clean inside or on top. Breakfast wasn’t the best.

Hotel was like a museum, which the struck me its atmosphere with first minutes. Maneylika is very pleasant and polite. Handmade French breakfast and coffee is very tasty. Very cosy and quiet room, with interesting design. We were delighted, many thanks!

We loved our stay here, the position of the hotel in Galle fort is perfect. Maneyika and Charles were lovely hosts, great to chat to, they made our stay very special. Our room was very comfortable, lovely bathroom with really hot shower. We had really good breakfasts, especially the Sri Lankan one, coffee was really good. The whole hotel had a lovely ambience, we would not hesitate to stay there again
