We loved the property! The location is fantastic and in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is beautifully decorated and authentic to the style of Venice with many paintings and details which makes it feel like home. It is also very clean and the lounge and beds are very comfortable. When we arrived we were welcomed by a lovely lady who was very helpful with instructions and Davide, the owner, also gave very useful directions and recommendations for restaurants etc, which we used and all were wonderful. We definitely recommend staying in this apartment!

The flat was very spacious, with perfect location right in the centre of Venice. Right next to it there was a pizzeria "L'Angelo" that served delicious vegan pizza.

The shower could use a small restoration.

Lovely old property in beautiful condition. So much history. Fantastic location. Aircon was very needed. Hidden extra bedroom was fun for children.

The room arrangement, 3 rooms, but one was like the size of a closet and you had to walk thru the loft which was the 2nd room with 2 twin beds. Only privacy provided for loft were some curtains.

An amazing location in the middle of Venice! The information prior to our visit was very useful and Paola was really helpful. The apartment was was wonderful and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely book this accommodation again!

The stairs are difficult for anyone with mobility problems.

The location was perfect to explore Venice. Apt clean and well equipped.

The stairs were very steep and it was difficult carrying luggage up. The area with single beds was not really a bedroom. There was a lack of places to put clothes for a party of 5. Could not get TV to work properly

The location of the apartment was very good. Nice and spacious place. The owner and the staff were very helpful and polite. They gave a lot of information about public transport, what to see in the city, where to eat etc.

We had a problem with hot water and the problem wasn't solved completely during our stay.

Great location on San Marco island. Easy access to all the major points of interest in Venice, including groceries, restaurants, bars, ATM and attractions. All of the conveniences/amenities you would hope for; washer, Wi-Fi, A/C, freezer. Layout; Kitchen/dining room, bathroom and living room are one level and bedrooms are on level above that, via unique wooden stairs. There are three bedrooms; a ‘master’ with a double bed (for a couple), a ‘loft room’ with two twins… and the ‘secret bedroom’ with another twin (accessed from loft/twin room). We were a family of five; two adults + adult child + two tweens. Adults in the master, Adult child in secret room, tweens in curtained loft room; which was good for us… but all adults might have issues with the lack of privacy or orientation of rooms (secret room has to enter/exit through loft room space and loft room only has curtains for privacy). Hot water worked very well (just give it a minute to flow to you). Stairs are reasonable for Venice. Hidden bedroom was a fun surprise. Read all of the reviews, examine the photos, compare against other similar properties. We found this to be a great value and an exceptional place to live Venice from for a week. **my photos show handle placement to get hot water**

Nothing with the apartment. Just know that this isn’t the right place for people with mobility/balance issues… but in my experience, there are very few places in Venice (or Italy for that matter) that are that accommodating to mobility challenge individuals.

Cute, clean and big apartment with a soul in the heart of Venice. We found there everything that we need. If you want to taste how life in Venice looks like living in the old house like this is the best way to do it. So if we come to Venice again we would like to stay here again 🙂

Climbing some stairs could be a problem for ollder people but it was ok for us.

The apartments is very atmospheric, two-level attic in a histirical building. Warm, clear, cosy. Nicely decorated. Comfortable for three persones, a lot of place. Fully equipped. The location is perfect, and by the way, the large Crai supermarket is very close (it is a privilege for the center of Venice). We collected the keys at the agency nearby and the lady from the agency met us and escorted to the apartment and instructed. We also received detailed instruction by e-mail from owner about the transport and restaurants, as well as other information. The plumbing is in order. The sofa in the living room is new. Highly recommend the apartment!

The bathroom has a step that hasn't been marked. You need to stick a tape to it so as not to trip over. A little confusion with the login and password of the Wi-Fi. There are two routers in the room, and one does not work, the instructions are incorrect. The password consists of many characters, which complicated the task)) But we managed it with the little help of staff pretty quickly. There was no chef's knife, only table knifes.

This property is central to all on San Marco island, 6 minute walk to St. Mark’s square and that’s with kids! Grocery store 2 minute walk and several restaurants to eat around property. This shows true Venetian living! Thank you so much for a great Venice experience for our family!

The bathroom was big. The agency where we got the keys from was near the boat stop.

There was no elevator. Bringing our suitcases on the top floor was a challenge. The narrow staircase didn't help either. There are shops and restaurants nearby. But none that we tried was remarkable. The ceiling is low on the 2nd floor. There was also a hidden room, which felt like something from a scary movie. The apartment was old, but I think most are in Venice.
