This is is charming property in walking distance from train station, restaurants and beach. We really enjoyed sense of family history here- building with high ceilings, paintings, furniture😊. Our room was with balcony and great view to garden and sea; breakfest was perfect- we could express our choice for every morning; and host- Marina- so great and welcoming🥰.
Nothing to say. We “missed” only wine bottle opener in room but we asked host for it when needed

Marina was so welcoming and hospitable. The villa felt like I was staying in a Merchant Ivory film: it was an old fashioned pensione in an Edwardian villa, which is why it is so charming. The room was very large with high ceilings, a large bathroom and a balcony with a sea view. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Marina provided us with a kettle. It was 10 minutes walk to the seafront, old town and station so ideal for a stay without a car. Breakfast was to order the night before: continental with a lovely coffee.
It is difficult to park on the road by the villa. We found a free space down by the supermarket. We only had the car because we were touring but didn't use it at all for the 3 days as we got the train to Cinque Terra, walked to Santa Margerita and Portofino and got the boat back. There is no fridge in the room, or air conditioning.

The host Marina was so nice and accommodating! She helped me with our laundry and gave me a room to iron, the location is within walking distance from the train station, and the property itself - ah, it's like you time-travel, this experience of living in a villa has created such sweet memories! P.S. Great foccacia and coffee for breakfast! Also, I highly recommend eating at Mitili e Mitili - the seafood cafe at Rapallo - it was delicious and fresh, and not expensive at all.

Villa Olimpo was a beautiful place in a nice location, close to the port, with restaurants around and walking distance from the train station. We received the warmest welcome from our host who took care of us so nicely.

Delightful, helpful and amazing hosts during the booking process and throughout our stay, I loved it here. Beautiful house, quirky with character. You are made to feel so welcome and has the feeling of staying in a luxury stately home. So accommodating and friendly, amazing breakfast which you request the day before, superb quality and thought goes into it. Great location close to town which you could walk to within 5 mins. Private parking was arranged which was very close by. Our room was spacious and had a wonderful terrace with sea view, lovely bathroom and amenities. I felt so happy here and didn't want to leave. Loved TeaTea the cat!
For me it was all great. However to be a useful reviewer, the property is on a hill which is short but fairly steep from the town (we did find a shortcut which helped) This wasn't a problem for us but thought it might be helpful to mention.

This was a lovely chance to experience staying in a family-owned villa, immersed in the history, books, art and family photographs and furnishings of the ancestral home. We were made very welcome and felt comfortable in the villa. The breakfasts, sitting on the sunny verandah with stunning views were amazing - very generous, fresh and delicious.
Our room opened onto a lovely courtyard with views to the beach and beyond to the Ligurian coast and was a relaxing spot to sit. Some creaky floorboards in the room, but simply a reminder of the history and heritage of the villa. Rapallo was a great location to stay, with lots to see and do and easy access to the other towns, by boat, car, bus or walking.
Finding parking was a bit of a challenge, taking a bit of time and patience to find a spot - but there are free parking areas to look for and we were there in the peak season in August so it was not surprising. We had only booked at the last minute, very lucky to find availability, so the parking space in the garage was unavailable.

We felt like aristocrats in Villa Olimpo, the feeling of the golden 20th century twenties and thirties inside the villa and the views from the balcony, from the gardens and from the veranda where we had breakfast were superb. The villa has gorgeous antique furniture and you just get the feeling of going back in time in the best possible way. The most welcoming hosts one can wish! And the breakfast! Thank you, Marina for hosting us. Staying in Villa Olimpo was the highlight of our trip.

This villa is very authentic, a real taste of Italy, situated on the hillside, overlooking the harbour. Access by car is difficult with no parking. So we arranged to meet at the gate and unload, with cars whipping by. The breakfast is fresh and tasty and very generous. Our room had an outside terrace with a small sea view. Marina is very friendly and helpful with local knowledge of sites and places to visit.
It's a bit of a hike back up to the villa from the town.

Words can't describe how happy, welcomed, and comfortable we were during these 2 days. Everything was on point, everything was perfect. We recommend everyone to be hosted by the one and only, Marina! PS: Breakfast 100/100

Great breakfast and excellent location.
Parking. The garage at Villa Olimpo is too small to take my car and it is off a very busy road.

The gorgeous villa is perfectly located near the city centre and supermarket, with an amazing view on Rapallo Bay. The room is very pretty, spacious and squeaky clean, with a large balcony where you can sunbathe and enjoy the views. The owner was super friendly and made breakfast into a feast in the characteristic conservatory. We had a wonderful stay!

Fantastic villa with a beautiful garden, only a short walk from the center of Rapallo. Marina is a lovely very kind and helpful host. The breakfast is great. The parking is a bit challenging, but it is nice to have a parking at all.

Marina is a wonderful host, always happy to help (she even offered to pick us up at the train station!). She is filled with kindness and generosity and we could clearly see she loves hosting people in her beautiful family villa. She made our stay perfect !
Breakfast was excellent, and we got the privilege to have in the veranda with amazing views over Rapallo and the sea. We felt in a very unique and special place, thanks to Marina’s hospitality but also to the charm of this old villa, full of character and really well decorated.
The view from our terrace was stunning and the room was full of charm. The location is perfect, very central to visit Rapallo and the surroundings but still very quiet, a little set back from the loud and crowded waterfront.
The rooms can get a little hot on hot summer days but there is a fan and you can open both windows to create an air flow.

Friendliness of Marina and all staff. The property is extremely clean and in a great location. You can decide each day what you’d like for breakfast. We stayed in room Portofino with a lovely terrace. The bed was comfy and with memory foam pillows. The WiFi was very good too, no problem downloading newspapers to our tablets. The location is a short walk, uphill from the promenade in Rapallo. Recommended and we will return! Thank you Marina!

It's everything you could want from such a stay — the villa is amazing with all antique details, city and nature views, inner garden, beautiful breakfast from a local bakery on an open balcony. All the amenities are modernized / working by a good standard.

I recommend visiting this wonderful historic villa. But this is not a museum. The house is filled with life and keeps the memory of ancestors and previous owners. The mistress and keeper of all this splendor is a wonderful Marina.
Thanks for the hospitality, courtesy, and, of course, for the wonderful breakfasts! Be sure to try to come back here!
It is hard to find anything negative in such a magnificent old house with such a friendly hostess! We didn’t succeed
