Wat een fantastisch verblijf hebben gehad met onze 2 dochters hier bij de Lazy Lodge. De locatie is fantastisch, op het strand met een heerlijk restaurant en barretje erbij. Het ontbijt was lekker en werd geserveerd, wat ook wel eens lekker is ipv een buffet. Het personeel is het aller vriendelijkst, en speciale vermelding voor de tuinman (zag dat die eerder werd benoemd). Zodra je die ziet fleur je meteen op, en hij was aller liefst met onze kinderen. We hebben uiteindelijk 4/4 avonden gegeten in het restaurant daar, alle keren lekker! De Pina Colada's bij zonsondergang zijn ook aan te raden.

Een zwembad was lekker geweest voor kinderen. Hoewel dat wellicht ook meer families aantrekt en de rust en "Lazy" vibe verstoord kan raken. Het strand staat niet aangeschreven als het meest kindvriendelijke, maar voor ons met kinderen van 4 en 3 was het toch helemaal top.

Den rolige atmosfæren var fantastisk Super service fra personalet og bungalowen vi bodde i var nydelig. Vi sov så godt i en så behagelig seng der dyne og pute var luftig og lett. Veldig god frokost😊

Ingenting

The location, food, beach, staff hospitality, cleanliness. Everything was more than what we expected. It's a beautiful place to stay for 2-3 nights, the staff is helpful and ensures you have a beautiful stay at the resort.

There wasn't anything to not like at this resort. It's a very calm and peaceful place to live. If you are looking for a party place then, this may not be for you. You can go and relax at this serene beach.

Perfect beachfront location. Clean and nice room. Comfortable bed. Excellent cleaning service. Affordable, nice smell and well folded. Good food. Helpful and responsive staff, including with organising transfers with the caveat below.

Shared transfer to Krabi through the hotel was annoying as it did not take us to Ao Nang as agreed but only to Krabi town where we were asked to get out and had to arrange for transfer ourselves. Moreover driver was rude. Breakfast could be more generous and tastier. All portions are very small regardless of the option chosen. Same is true for other meals we had at the hotel (lunch or dinner) but to be fair we found this to be generally the case in Phuket/Krabi. Room’s doors/windows were not completely closing and door had an annoying system to open. However, the mosquito net around the bed partly compensated for that.

Der erste Eindruck super. Kleine, gepflegte Anlage und eine sehr herzliche Begrüßung. Grundsätzlich ist das freundliche und fröhliche Personal hervorzuheben. Das kommt sehr authentisch rüber. In jedem Punkt wird einem sofort weitergeholfen und es gibt auch keinerlei Verständigungsschwierigkeiten (wie bei anderen Hotels auf dieser Reise oft erlebt). Das A la carte Frühstück (ohne Buffet) ist wohltuend anders. Das Abendessen direkt am Strand ein Genuss. Auch die Cocktails sind toll. Gutes System für kostenloses Wasser ohne Plastik. Unser Strand Bungalow ist sehr schön aufgeteilt und absolut stimmig eingerichtet - es fehlt an nichts.

Der Zugang zum Meer ist durch die Steine/ Felsen nicht ideal, aber man findet "seinen" Weg Die Beschallung durch die umliegenden Lokale und deren unterschiedliche Musik ist recht stark ausgeprägt. Uns hat es nicht gestört, doch wer die absolute Ruhe sucht sollte das berücksichtigen.

Toll eingerichtet, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen. Gratis Wasser ohne Plastikmüll! Sehr gut!

Alles war perfekt.

Die beste Unterkunft unseres gesammten Urlaubes. Damit haben wir im Vorhinein nicht gerechnet. Die Zimmer sind super schön und charismatisch eingerichtet, wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Frühstück war auch das beste was wir in Thailand bekommen haben...Abendessen war auch super. Wir waren begeistert, leider war der Aufenthalt zu kurz.

A kezdetektől fogva vendégszeretőek, nagyon kedvesek voltak. A szállás elhelyezkedése kiváló, az ágyból ráláthattunk a tengerre. A reggeli bőséges és finom volt. Nem tudnék erre a szálláshelyre negatív kommentet írni, hálásak vagyunk nekik mindenért :)

Super gastvriendelijk personeel. Kunnen allemaal engels spreken, waardoor je makkelijk kan communiceren. Zeker een pluspunt in Thailand. Kamers zijn zeer gezellig en leuk ingericht. Je bevindt je aan de zee met een mooi uitzicht bij zonsondergang. Je kan een scooter huren (250bath per dag) bij het hotel en verschillende activiteiten vastleggen via hen of alleen. Ze helpen je er graag bij als je dit wenst. Het hotel biedt ook de mogelijkheid om je te laten masseren aan de kustlijn. Het eten is uitstekend en super verzorgd. In het kort is The Lazy Lodge een echte aanrader als je verblijft in Koh Lanta.

Enigste kleine puntje is het geluid in de avond van de omliggende beachbars. Maar daar kunnen ze echter niets aan doen en hebben het goed opgelost door oordopjes te voorzien.

Really liked the vibe of this place. Staff are super helpful and happy. Pool looks over ocean, restaurant does good food ... but lots of food options a few minutes walk. I was there off season, so a little quiet in bars etc ... but still loved the Island.

Nothing was perfect!

We absolutely loved The Lazy Lodge. The cabins are stylish and comfortable, the garden is beautiful, the restaurant is great (recommend trying the authentic Thai dishes and the Swedish pancakes for breakfast). The staff is welcoming and friendly, Coco was a fantastic help in booking activities like a mangrove tour. While most of the island was very quiet and a lot of places closed -due to green/rainy season- the Lazy Lodge was up and running and offered all services. On sunny days there was the option to book a massage right there on the beach.

It is incredibly sad to see the amount of pollution that washes up on the beach every day. I am not sure if this is better in high season due to weather conditions or clean-up actions.

Fantastic location, felt like being in a paradise. Food was delicious, the staff always happy to help and super friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious, and super close to the beach.

I loved everything about that place.

We loved our stay at the Lazy Lodge. The resort is immaculate. The rooms are super clean with comfortable beds (we slept so well here). The staff are absolutely amazing. They are so kind and attentive to their guests needs. The day-time front desk person (female, shoulder length hair) should be recognized by the owner/s for her excellent work. She made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. She was so helpful during our stay, arranging on-site delivery for our motorbike rental and she booked our transportation to Koh Tao. The kitchen staff are so talented too! The complimentary breakfast every morning was so big and delicious. For lunch and dinner, they can cook amazing Thai and Western food to your liking. I have to give a shout out to the man landscaping and maintaining the property while we there. He was so friendly and brightened our day every time we talked to him. We will be recommending this place to friends/family visiting Thailand.

We stayed here in late May. Other reviews mention the Mushroom Bar nearby. It closes for the season in early May so no need to worry about the “noise” if you’re staying here during that time.

This hotel is really calm in low season, rooms are comfortable with a terrace (pictures really match what we had), the gardener is very friendly, nice beach front.

The people from the reception and the waitresses are not friendly at all, not a smile, don’t care about customers, we had to come get them to get anything for breakfast.

the beach is lovely but rocks come out at low tide so not good for swimming. 2 min walk to swimming area on the beach so not an issue.

The resort is beautiful and is even prettier than the photos in real life. The staff are lovely and the food is great including the breakfast. The location is wonderful right next to the beach and lots of local restaurants, shops and Thai massage places.

We were warned by the resort themselves and also other reviews so cannot moan too much but oh my gosh the noise from the nextdoor bar was very loud late at night! It didn't cause a problem in the day, just regular music but past 10pm our room was like being nextdoor to a nightclub. I imagine Lazy Lodge don't have much control over this and would love the noise to stop too but this is worth considering if you would be very annoyed about this. For us we didn't find it ruined the experience and we still enjoyed our time greatly! I think as we were a beachfront room the noise for us would be the worst as well so perhaps other rooms furtherback might be better for peace and quiet!

I loved almost everything in this small resort close to a beautiful beach: location, desing and decoration of the common areas, the beautiful room with many special details for the comfort and enjoyment of the guests, the delicious breakfast and dinners, the helpful staff, especially the people in charge of the reception, the eco-friendly attitude.

The only thing that I did not like was the bed, not firm enough for me, but I am sure many other people do like such soft beds. There was another thing I did not like, although it is not the responsability of The Lazy Lodge: the resort close to it starts playing loud "music" around 16.00 PM until late in the evening, spoiling thus the idilic athmosphere of the whole area with their sound pollution. In my opinion, music should be played in close spaces, in order not to impose it on those that don´t wish to listen to it.

Beautiful place. One of the nicest places i've been. Excellent and very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Really nice restaurant for dinner. The food was amazing! I would highly recommend.

amazing chilled vibe

A beautiful small resort with a relaxed atmosphere and very well maintained. Lodges were stylish and well equipped . The food at LL was first class as were the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if we return to Koh Lanta
