Lovely breakfast and dinners. Staff were attentive and friendly. Homely atmosphere.

Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable, if not a bit on the small side. Food was very good and a good choice at breakfast to order. Bed & Breakfast package provided £ 19 for breakfast items, which was sufficient. Dinner was good, although not available one night due to chef holiday and only served to 6pm on Sunday. Large car park at no cost.

It was actually a great little lodge - very homely. The staff were absolutely wonderful and could not do any more than they were doing to ensure that I was looked after. I arrived a little late and missed lunch, but a lovely sandwich was made for me - complete surprise. You usually get the same old 'nah, sorry you missed it'. Bar staff and food servers were fab - very attentive and great fun. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was a treat. Having stayed in a great many hotels around the world over the last 30 years, it's nice to be pleasantly surprised and have expectations exceeded. If I'm ever that way again, I'll be looking to check in.
The only very slight issue was the trucks that rumble past the lodge - sometimes quite early in the morning. However, I'm just being uber picky and this is more of a room location thing, than a hotel location thing. I just happened to be in an end room which was seemingly quite close to the road. But honestly, it was quiet at night and barely heard a peep from other hotel guests.

Beautiful dog friendly rooms in the annex. There is also a dog friendly area in the restaurant. Staff were all very friendly

The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely pleasant and friendly with good food (breakfast and dinner) and service.
The room was at the front of the hotel and although not a busy road the traffic noise was very loud even with the windows closed and because the room was too warm we had to open the windows which made it worse. Also whenever a heavy goods vehicle passed by the whole room shook! If I booked again I would insist on a room away from the main road.

Room was fine. A bit drab in terms of decor and fairly basic, but OK for a night at short notice.
The restaurant was really overpriced for what was offered. Restaurant decor also outdated. Staff were lovely though.

The bed was extremely high and I found it difficult to get in and out as I have a slight disability. Breakfast was good but it would have been better to have been able to help ourselves to cereal and fruit.

Bed was smaller than expected (4'6" instead of 5'), and not very comfortable - too hard for us, although it might suit other people. I was disappointed not to have a fridge or Sky TV in the room.

Nice room. Roomy with comfy bed and two chairs. The bathroom was spotless. The restaurant/bar has a quality feel. Staff very pleasant. Nice location. Fast free internet. Parking.
A carpet on the bedroom floor would have been nice. The food in the restaurant was good but not worth the cost…£23:59 per meal and no better than the Elm Tree Inn just down the road at far less cost. That goes for the ridiculously high cost of a bottle of Pinot-Grigio….£27……yes….twenty seven pounds…..one bottle.

It was dusty.
The pillows were too firm.
The shower needs fixing, it only went hot or cold no in between.
The hair dryer sparked when switching it on and off.

Arrived a bit late but was still accommodated in restaurant and food was well presented well portioned and tasty

Breakfast was excellent but I thought it a bit expensive £21, sort of evening meal prices.
Attention to detail. Hotel info pack was in a black folder, left in a black wardrobe, I nearly didn't find it. Bathroom extractor fan was switched off. Bulb blown in bedside lamp. Sink didn't hold water, made shaving awkward and led to wasting water.

Spacious room with comfy beds bath is great, rooms itself is very modern better looking then majority of the areas hotels is slightly more on the expensive side per night but was close to what I needed. Breakfast was lovely and quick which was included in the price as you have to travel everywhere else by car
The hot water was boiling like a kettle even though we had it on cold and two of the plug sockets didn't work so we unplugged everything, also a pet hate if you put a do not disturb sign up I don't expect to come back from breakfast and have a cleaner making my bed and having my room door wide open .. I do this so that people don't invade the room I'm calling home for 2 nights

Nice room very clean but a bit noisy.
Staff friendly and dinner at the restaurant very nice indeed.
Road had some heavy sounding vehicles at odd times during the night.
Also sound insulation between rooms is not great.
