Room had a little balcony overlooking the bay. Good for watching the sun set with a beer. Very quiet in December. Friendly welcome on arrival.

Very short walk to numerous restaurant choices, unfortunately they were all closed in the evening this time of the year. Very short walk to the beach and harbor with boats. We walked to a Tapas bar that also was very close. This is an apartment and we should have brought some of our own food because nearly all the restaurants were closed this time of the year. Drinking wine and looking at the beach and Mediterranean Sea from our balcony was excellent.

On March 11, most of the restaurants were closed because it was not tourist season. We were in the San Jose to hike in the Cabo de Gato but we did miss the numerous restaurant choices.

Indeed it was a great weekend at San José and Hostal del cabo is located on top of the hill the city is full of tourist. The room was very clean. I arrived a little late after the reception has closed in the evening because of my work schedule but I communicated with them in time and a video was sent to me to enable me pick up the door key which was fantastic and nice experience.

I like the overview of my window because it helps you to overview the beech and when I walked down the street with my partner in the evening to find bars and restaurants to relax and take some glass of local wine it was full of tourists everyone is busy talking very friendly, but I think the city can be more joyful when visited in the sunshine summer because the rain wasn't friendly this weekend. But above all I in joyed my stay.
