The flat is right in the center of Cologne, easy to access by car, with a parking right in front of the flat. An elevator leads you to the 3rd floor. We didn't cook, we took breakfast in a shop next to the flat, and all meals outside.

It was pretty hot outside (it's summer in Germany too ....) and due to the fact there are no window shutters on the living room, the appart was hot too (curtains are not enough). We had to open the windows of the bedroom at night to cool the flat down, but there are huge and noisy fans, so the nights were not that quiet.

Actually, we were there for both work and leisure. We traveled with our 11 months old baby and the main reason for chosing the appartment was the location. And although during weekends, it tends to get loud, on the other days, the noise was manageable. It is literally on the main shopping street, walking distance to the Dome and the river. The appartment itself is very good value for money, compared to other options available in the area. There is a parking space across the pedestrian area and we could see the car from the living room. During the afternoon, the living room gets a little hot (courtains would be great), but we used the bedroom and pretty much stayed in the living room in the morning mostly. We had everything we needed, from towels, to a good size closet, sofa, well equipped kitchen (although we only used the fridge). The fact that it has two separate rooms was also a big plus for us. Downstairs, there is an excellent asian restaurant and 2 min walk, there are grocery stores.

We stayed in this apartment for 7 nights, there was four of us and it was ideal . Very central location with shops and restaurants on your doorstep. The apartment is beautiful, lovely furniture and furnishings. The thing that really struck me was how clean it was and cleaning products were also supplied. There is a very good functional kitchen with plenty of cutlery and crockery and a good sized fridge. Having a dishwasher was also a bonus. We were provided with plenty of good quality towels and the shower was brilliant. I met the owner Vanessa while I was there she was kind enough to bring us a fan . Such a lovely lady and so very kind to us . We will definitely be back here to stay again. Can’t recommend highly enough.
