This house is very well equipped, including a laundry. The owner generously left us wine and snacks as well as dishwashing and laundry detergents.

Mark was a terrific host. Incredibly informative and welcoming. The facility itself was great, and the area is gorgeous.
Can't be helped because of the location, but I almost stepped on a scorpion in the middle of the night when I was cracking a window. It was also a bit warm and there were no fans. I'd just recommend bringing a small fan with you.

The views are the best, and so close to the Sequoia entrance. Watch for the Quail early in the morning from the porch while drinking coffee, about 6:15 and deer in the evening at dusk. Enjoy the beautiful valley and the peacefulness of the distance water flowing down below at the stream.

I found dry blood under the pillow, freaked me out so badly so I had to do laundry in the midnight... Beds are very uncomfortable

The house was really clean and the location is perfect. Just a few minutes away from Sequoia National Park.

Mark was great, besides providing a great amount of information about the Park and the surrounding areas, he was also quite receptive.
