Everything about this rental was wonderful! The condo is beautiful and tastefully decorated but still very cozy, Very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean! Perfect location, only steps away from the beach and the wonderful pool. The owner was super friendly and very helpful, giving us useful information about the condo, activities on the island and restaurant recommendations. I liked that he checked in with us to make sure all was well and let us know we could contact him at any time if we had any questions or problems.
We are working on dates for next year and looking forward to another wonderful stay in this condo!

Excellent apartment, and Loggerhead is great overall. Need clean, well-appointed. We didn’t need to have brought all our beach equipment. The unit has plenty, as well as beach towels. Good to know for the future. Unit is close to beach as well.

What a Great Condo. It is a fantastic location and was even better than advertised. Sanibel is quickly on its way back, and it felt wonderful to be back there on vacation and only 40 Yards from the Beach.
I could live in this Condo full-time. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities needed for Beach Days. I absolutely loved it. Loggerhead Cay is a great complex. Our Family can't wait to return.

Jims condo is brand new - comfortable beds, all new appliances and right on the beach. We enjoyed the bikes as Sanibel has great trails. Also the beach chairs were all new and great for watching the sunset. Sanibel is rebuilding which is great to see! We will be back.

The Unit has been totally redone since Ian. It is absolutely the nicest Unit I have ever rented on Sanibel, we have been coming to the Island every Christmas for 45 years. The owner was very responsive. The Unit has a fantastic view, well equipped with everything you need from the kitchen, beach chairs, towels, toys to bikes and helmets. The property Loggerhead Cay still has a lot of construction going on, the whole Island does. I was very fortunate this Unit was available to rent, so few places were ready for occupancy after Ian. Very relaxing beach, steps from the Unit. Furnishings were top notch. Family enjoyed every minute of the stay. Full 180 degree of the gulf from the convince of the Unit. 5 star Unit don’t hesitate to stay in 151 you will be very happy!

This was our second trip to Sanibel. We loved the property so much last year we specifically came during a week when we could stay at this condo. Jim is a wonderful property owner to work with and follows up within 24 hours of you arriving to see if you have concerns. He also has wonderful recommendations about places to visit and restaurants. The fan was not working on the Lanai when we arrived and Jim addressed it immediately. This location is close to everything. The first floor location is convenient to both the beach and the pool. The condo has some new beach chairs since last year. Jim provides beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and a wagon to carry it all in. Jim also provides 4 bikes although we didn’t use them this year. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to make your own meals.

We have visited Sanibel many times and this was our first stay in this unit. The proximity to the beach is perfect and the view from the kitchen is a plus - you can watch the clouds turn colors and know exactly when to run up for photos! The unit is well stocked with all the beach supplies you need and the wagon was very handy. The kitchen has many pots and pans and dishes to cook in and the bonus is a nice selection of wine glasses. The washer and dryer are very handy and there is plenty of towels for showering and to bring up to the pool or beach. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed and the bathrooms are both nicely redone - the master could use a darkening curtain unless you like to be up with the sunrise in the morning! The floors are so easy to keep clean from sand - being tile and not carpet which we love. The host was very accommodating and had someone bring me a broom so I could keep the floors clean. :) We can't wait to return to this exact rental again next summer!

Great Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loggerhead Cay. We loved how everything that we needed to take to the beach was at the condo. The cooler was a little smaller than I expected, but didn't use it every day anyway. It was very convenient to be so close to the beach. The shelling was great. It was a little more crowded than I expected, but we still had plenty of room to spread out and have our own space. We would definitely stay at this condo again.

We had so much fun during our trip to Sanibel. Jim is a wonderful host, and provided so many beach items (plus gave excellent restaurant recommendations.) The condo location couldn't be better--steps from the beach and steps from the pool. Perfect for little kids!!

Lovely condo!
This is our fourth time visiting Sanibel and this is honestly the nicest condo we’ve stayed in at Loggerhead Cay. The location couldn’t be better (ground floor is the best especially with sandy beach equipment!) and the view is just like it’s pictured. The condo comes with everything you’ll need for a great stay- comfortable furniture, kitchen equipment, lots of beach gear. Jim is a wonderful and thoughtful host who was just a text or call away if we had questions or needed anything, and Sanibel Holiday is easy to work with as a management company. We will definitely be renting this condo again for our next trip!

Sanibel family fun
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loggerhead Cay condominium complex. Our unit was ground level with the lanai looking out on the beach and just 1 building down from the pool. The complex is pristine and the 2 minor things we needed fixed were taken care of immediately. The complex is more adult oriented, but our grandson had fun in the pool and on the beach. We were fortunate that we were allowed to bring our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, but the rules in the complex are very strict regarding pets, so be prepared. We were blessed with fantastic weather and several manatees swimming in the shallow water on the beach. Lots of shells and many great restaurants all within a 2-3 mile radius. The only inconvenient thing about the complex is only 1 designated parking spot per condo. We had our daughter and her family with us and they had to park 2 buildings away from our unit in Guest parking. 2 spaces together would have been very nice.

The perfect Sanibel condo!
We loved our stay in Jim’s clean and comfortable condo! Everything is as it appears in the photos, plus comfortable beds, a well-appointed kitchen and fast WiFi. We especially enjoyed the screened porch where you can see (and hear!) the Gulf. As another reviewer mentioned, the location is perfect: You are a 30-second walk from the beach, 30 seconds from the large pool and a minute to the two tennis/pickleball courts – and we alternated between the three each day. (Jim’s condo is on the ground level which is very convenient.) The grounds and facilities of Loggerhead Cay are well-maintained and having stayed on a previous trip in a nearby hotel, we found it less crowded, particularly at the pool. Jim is responsive and helpful with any questions, and there is also a local management company for the unit. Thank you again, Jim, for a fantastic vacation – we can’t wait to come back!

Our Sanibel Experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Sanibel, made more pleasant by our condo unit #151 Loggerhead Cay. The unit is spacious with all the comforts of home and sleeps 4-6. I rented the unit for a family gathering of 25, so I had a good friend and my sister and niece part of the time. I also had a couple of surprise friends for a day. I loved the view of the beach from our lanai. I'll probably return next year. Thank you to Jim for sharing his place with us.

Sanibel Sunshine
Unit was fantastic. 30 second walk from beach and 30 second walk from pool. The lanai faces east, so early sun but afternoon shade. Kitchen was well equipped except for spices. The place was spacious for the kitchen/dining/living area, 2nd bedroom small but serviceable. Master bedroom quite large with own slider to lanai. Condo complex very well kept up. We even used the gas grillls several times. Several decent restaurants within 10 min drive or less. Jim, the owner, could not have been more helpful. He reached out several times to make sure I knew of attractions and restaurant recommendations. He also was able to get us new beach chairs and beach wagon -- we had only found out the day before they were broken and he had them replaced ASAP.

It was perfect!
We absolutely loved staying at this property! The views of the Gulf are spectacular. Both the beach and the pool are just steps away, out the back door of the lanai. The place was very clean and had all we needed (beach towels, beach chairs, extra linens, cooking utensils, dishes, etc.) - and the beds were very comfortable too. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit, as well as 3 televisions. We used the tennis/pickle ball courts, shuffleboard and bikes daily. The property is located just minutes from many wonderful eateries on the island and Jerry’s market, where we also bought food to make some of our own meals. We found many fun things to do on Sanibel and also spent time on Captiva. This was one of our favorite trips and this wonderful property helped us relax and enjoy all that Sanibel/Captiva has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Condo and property were everything as expected. Roomy, clean, and the proximity to the beach couldn't be beat. Literally steps from the patio door to the beach. Condo contained everything we needed, and the owner checked in the first full day to ensure everything was acceptable. Would rent again.

Condo on Beach
Location was good. Noise/Construction was horrible. Also we were not informed of the construction going on. We had to check in late because cleaning crew wasn't done on time. Infested with Roaches. All they could say was sorry and that roaches are normal on the Island. Well we've been coming to Sanibel for 15 years and never once had a roach in our condo. Needless to say we will not return to this property.

AWESOME VACATION!!!
This was our first visit to Sanibel Island and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of place to go, or the condo at Loggerhead Cay. The condo, despite being on the ground floor, has great views of the Gulf and the beautiful sunrises. It is steps to the beach from the screened patio door and Jim, the owner, has provided absolutely everything you would need for a day at the beach except beverages and food. Jim contacted us when we first made the reservation to answer any questions we might have, and again the day after our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to offer suggestions for things to do and places to eat. He has provided four adult bicycles for use on the miles of leisure paths on the island. You can almost go anywhere on the island by bike and leave your auto in the reserved parking space. The condo is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is well appointed with plenty of dishes, glassware and cookware. We have never slept better on the very comfortable king size mattress. Pets are also welcome as we brought our two small mini dachunds. We definitely plan to return.

We didn’t give this beautiful condo five stars on every category just to be nice. After renting, through VRBO, we immediately received a call from Jim, our superhost. He couldn’t have been nicer or more fun to talk to. He checked in upon our arrival to see if everything was OK. The condo was spotless, beautifully decorated and stocked with every extra amenity for a perfect week on Sanibel. Beautiful gulf view even from the ground floor and the free use of bicycles, floats, chairs, towels and even a beach buggy to haul it in. The walk to the beach was easy and short, but the hike to the lighthouse was a bit more strenuous, but worth every step. Jim checked in mid-week to be sure all was still well and helped us with a few restaurant suggestions. Doc Ford’s had moved since last time we were there - it is now across the road from the front of Bailey’s. Fabulous dinner! Always our favorite.The ocean was clear, the weather was perfect, shelling was mediocre, we can’t say enough great things about Jim and his condo. Thank you for making our vacay perfect!
