Location was unbelievable and perfect. Clean and sleeps a large group.

Stairs going upstairs are steep and difficult.

Aircon unit on balcony blows onto you when sitting there and a bit of clutter in the house.

The terrace is a bit small (but wonderful view and still enjoyable) The house is beautiful and pretty big for being a beach house, but not very kid-friendly: Stairs are tiny and made with metal, a bit dangerous for kids.

My husband and I have been ogling this property for years. Every time we make our way to Scilla. This time we finally thought to book just enough time in advance and it was only available for two nights (actually we got lucky that there was a scheduling error and then someone cancelled a night so we were able to book!). First of all, the location could not be better, literally right across the street from the beach. Second, the architecture is unlike anything else you find in Italy. Definitely not traditional, but that’s not what we were looking for. Next, the interior was just as nice as the exterior. And finally, the views of the sea and the sunset were simply.... breathtaking. Next time we will be sure to stay long enough to use the rooftop kitchen 🤩

There was no dish soap (but there were dishwasher tablets) and no laundry detergent. The amount of coffee was very very small and there was no olive oil or condiments of any kind (except for salt). Same for body soap or shampoo. We did not ask for them as we were only there for two nights, but given how luxurious this place is? We expected to find these things available.

This is a spotlessly clean, well equipped house, sitting right on the beach in Scilla. 3 Double bedrooms and one single with kitchen, dining area and small rooftop terrace that looks out on the med.

The property (and the whole of the beachfront) at Scilla is a long walk uphill to the nearest supermarket so getting basic essentials in is a bit of a drag (there’s a good business opportunity for somebody!). Parking is problematic in high season - if you get a space in front of the house, keep it! or Feruccio, the excellent host, can arrange parking a couple of hundred metres from the house. Again this is a problem for everyone in Scilla and not just this property. Finally, even though we were there for the beginning of the peak season, the town was awash with garbage as the local council had not collected any in what seemed a while - again this was a problem for then whole town as opposed to a problem specific to this lovely house.
