Communal areas scruffy and very little storage in apartment. Nowhere to hang clothes as all cupboards filled with hoover and bedding, baskets etc.

Shared entrance stairs to shared entrance are not nice. Really adds an glum feel to what is an ok property

The sea views were incredible and it was a very comfortable place to relax in

The check in time is quite late with no flexibility to request an early check in. We also had to strip the beds ourselves (including the mattress protectors) which I thought was a bit cheeky as we were paying more than £250/night.

Excellent position very quiet, wonderful views.

Communal access to the 2nd floor apartment was very dirty, looked like it had not been cleaned in months, it did not give us confidence that the apartment would be any better. The apartment overrode that negative thought.

The property was advertised for 4 adults. Apparently this is not so. It is for 3 adults and one child!! misrepresentation. The truckle bed collapsed in the night. It had clearly been repaired before. I only weigh 10stone. No harm but quite frightening. Also despite 2 emails and a telephone call to the owners via sykes cottages the truckle bed was not made up! We did it ourselves. So missing an under sheet. We were able to find a spare mattress protector instead. The communal area was not pleasant. The apartment itself ignoring the above was very comfortable but only for 3. Lovely welcome pack.

Great views, comfortable bed, great amenities overall, good location, helpful staff when I had queries. Despite my comments on what wasn't good, overall the place was great and good value for money.

I couldn't get in the main door initially; maybe have a sign up telling people's to turn the door handle the opposite way to the norm. Apparently I'm not the only one who has had problems. I also knew there were stairs, but hadn't realised the internal staircase was narrow so struggled carrying bags upstairs. I couldn't get the washing machine to work despite reading the manual. The next day a staff /maintenance person came to help...apparently the door had to be slammed shut. This needs to be fixed or leave a note to tell people to slam it. Literally. The shower was broken; the water was scalding hot. The maintenance guy struggled to get it shifted. This has to be fixed, as it was just too hot to enjoy. The shower is small too, so not sure how larger people manage. Shame the windows don't open fully, though presume this is for safety. I don't recall seeing a hair-dryer, I had my own. Tea, Coffee, milk was supplied. Sugar would have been nice too.
