The owner of the property is a very friendly gentleman and made for a lovely stay.

I highly recommend to stay in Aventura Backpackers! Mr. Isaac is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local tourist spots. The hostel is clean and well equipped with everything a backpacker need. So if you look for chillled and authentic experience in Chacha, search no more:).

What I liked about the hostel? Everything. The Hostel is very nice and the owner as well as everybody that worked/volunteered there were super super friendly. During my stay there was an earthquake and Isaac (the owner) + the staff did not hesitate to help us out with the guest's bus connections (streets were blocked). The beds are nice and had several blankets which I really appreciated in the chilly nights. I would definitely stay here again!

The owner is extremely kind and helps with everything: booking tours, calling agencies, bus operators ... The hostel is a little further from the center, but it is a 10 minute walk, and there are shops nearby.

There are no water tanks in the hostel and during the water shutdown due to works, we were left without water all day. He would have to buy a tank like everyone else.

The location was great, the owner lent us some face protector for Kuelap which was nice, the room was big. In the kitchen there was a good amount of ustensiles to use.

The bathroom/toilet was extremely dirty. And it was every day missing toilet paper. I know it's shared bathroom and guest have to behave but when you share only one bathroom for many people, the hostel staff should clean more often, it was really disgusting. Same for the kitchen. Also the walls were paper and on Saturday people came back at 2am and made noise by talking loudly until 4am, even when I asked them to be more quiet as we had a tour at 7am. There was a lot of light in the room due to the curtains and it was cold.

Dirty toilet, dirty kitchen, dirty pots and pans, disgusting fridge with out of date food from old guests… and non-working microwave. We also found so many flies in the room.

Isaac was a really friendly owner of aventura backpackers hostel, he was always interested in your activities and ready to help out with anything and made sure you are enjoying the stay in his hostel. Highly recommended for hiking in Chachapoyas!!

The ownwr was pretty nice and helpful. We had a good time there. The Rom is a bit small for 6 people but its okey.

Bedroom has plenty of space with comfy beds. Well equiped kitchen and nice outside common areas with fire place and hammocks. Hot shower when not in the busy times. Wifi works fine. Nice place to stay if you travelling on a budget.

The staff leaves dirty pots around the kitchen and doesn’t put much effort on keeping the place clean. Bathrooms running out of toilet paper almost all the time. A little out of the city centre.
