We had a wonderful time at The Plantation! It was in a beautiful location and we had a blast! The pool was great as well! The property manager was great to communicate with and always answered very quickly.

Such a fantastic place for our family vacation, 2023. With 9 bedrooms, everyone had plenty of room. A lot of time was spent in the beautiful swimming pool. Views of the ocean were enjoyed as we sat on the lanai. The setting was so lovely. Would not hesitate to rent this "plantation" again.

Lots of space and wonderful view of the ocean. The pool, with waterfall and hot tub is amazing. It was lovely to relax on the two separate lanais. Big remodled modern kitchen and master suite in the main house. The 2 kitchenettes are both at the poolhouse,1 on the lanai,1 in the bedroom with only a sink and refrigerator. Though it says recently renovated, the property is under construction with some features including some electrical and lighting not working, and some things in need of repair.The description and photos of the property are still not acurate despite the many reviews mentioning this. Walls are very thin in the tall house with the 6 bedrooms. Beds are very comfortable.The pickle ball court is the driveway /parking area with a roll-out net. It says bring your own paddles but we left ours so there should be 4.There is a great sand volleyball court with a net but you'll need a ball.There are also alot of pool toys. Stop at a store on your way and buy soap because there was soap in only 1 of the 10 bathrooms on the property. There are also no hand towels. For the kitchen,you'll need to buy some salt & pepper, spices and oil for cooking but otherwise is well equipt. Great snorkling up the road at Shark's Cove where you can rent gear. There are food trucks nearby and great shopping at The Polynesian Cultural Center and nearby open air market. Lovely swimming beach, good for little (and big) ones,just up the road from the house maybe 1/4 mile. We had a great time.

My husband and I renewed our vows at Moli’i Gardens & needed a place to house some of our guests flying to Hawaii. This place exceeded our expectations! The rooms were really nice & everyone felt comfortable in their own spaces. The pictures posted are not up to date at all and there are so many other features that we all enjoyed!
There was a sauna, a pickle ball court, an outdoor movie seating that we all loved and of course the gated pool.
The owner greeted us when we arrived and was so nice & welcoming. We had a bbq one of the days & she was extremely accommodating. We would love to get a group back there again!

This property was beautiful outside just really needs some cleaning and repairing done. The inside the beds were good but the rooms needed some good repairs done - electrical especially and cleaned. In most rooms there is no where to organize your personal items. It is a beautiful property but just needs a lot of maintenance done. We did enjoy our stay here. It was very relaxing and the views are beautiful.

This property is lovely in so many ways. There are some challenges with the AC in the pool house, it does not work. There are also no extra towels or linens available. Roland was very helpful and receptive. It’s unfortunate that you have to text him for the bubbles for the hot tub. That puts a lot onto him. Overall this property is lovely!!!

There are simply not enough words to explain the amazing experience we had. I don’t even know where to start. I read extensively the reviews prior to our stay so I think it’s best to start from there.
1. The photos can not & will not EVER do this property justice. The views alone are literally worth every dollar you spend. The photos are lacking so I’ll do my best to explain the accommodations.
*Main house has a HUGE full kitchen, dining room & living room with 3 fold out couches. The main bedroom has a king bed & full bathroom. There is a half bath in the laundry room & another bedroom with king and full bathroom around the back side of the main house.
*Pool house. A half bathroom and huge bedroom with mini kitchenette & king bed. Both the pool house and main house have HUGE lanais with tables & chairs and 2 extra outside fridges.
*secondary house: 1 downstairs room has 4 fold out couches, 3 other downstairs rooms have king beds and a last downstairs room has another fold out couch. Three of the downstairs rooms have full bathrooms. There are 2 upstairs rooms with king beds & a shared full bathroom.
2. View and amenities: THEY LITERALLY HAVE LAVA carved out and lit up in the driveway. There are red shiny rocks that are lit up and look like the path is covered in lava. The pool, location, view & property are beyond measure!
3. You will be cared for like never before. Roland and his crew were incredible and made everything perfect for us! Even brought us a turtle!

The location and views are breathtaking! We really enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces and the heated pool was amazing. The house itself could defiantly use some updating.

This property is the in perfect, picturesque location. It was ideal for our trip with extended family. The outdoor space is breath taking and the indoor area is big enough to accommodate our group of 18. Would come back tomorrow if we could!!

This is a great property at a lovely setting and has many wonderful amenities. Roland, the manager is very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate. Since the property was purchased last January (2022), they are continually making upgrades and improving the property. It is only getting better. There are lots of things to do at the property--pickle ball, sand volleyball, lovely lanais and fire pits, etc. and is a good place to rest and relax, but also good for other fun experiences like beaches and hiking. Hope you will enjoy it as much as our family did! !

A truly beautiful property with 360 degrees of amazing views. Drive 40 min in any direction for fun activities or stay right where you are. A truly fun experience for a big group to relax and enjoy their time with space to spread out. Lots of comfortable beds and property manager was great, friendly and super responsive. We had an amazing time. It will be hard to beat this one and we will definitely book again.

We just experienced the most perfect wedding weekend with the family. Beautiful historic home, with majestic views, beautifully landscaped yard and sparkling salt-water pool. So much time, attention and care has gone into this home to make it a perfect family destination. The property manager is so wonderful and the caretaker is amazing. They took care of our every need. This place has such a special feeling aabout it and the family all relaxed. Swam, played, laughed, and slept. Perfect family vacation. The wedding was breathtakingly beautiful and we truly could not have a more perfect experience. Thankyou si very much for this once in a lifetime experience!

Roland, the caretaker, was VERY responsive to any need or question. If you are looking for a great place to spend time with your family and plenty of activities available, this is the house for you. Incredible property!
My extended family (four families with ages ranging from 3-50, plus my 75 year old parents) just stayed on this property for 10 days over Christmas, and it was a dream vacation. I cannot say enough about the property. It is truly incredible. From the rooms, to the kitchen, to the private enclosed pool with waterfall, sauna and hot tub, to the amazingly beautiful grounds. We loved every single day we spent here. Thank you to Luisa and Roland for the wonderful communication and to Christian and his family for your kindness and help while on the property. We would definitely stay here again. Our vacation here was a 10/10! It is such a beautiful location and incredible property. Thank you so much!

We rented this for visiting family and friends to the islands for an event. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We had a blast and the property was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures don't even do the property justice. We enjoyed all the amenities and everything was in great working order. The family is already talking about renting the property for a future visit in a few years.

The property comfortably slept all 20 of our friends and was the most amazingly intimate option for our wedding. I also cannot say enough about the property managers and their crew of this place. They were SO sweet and accommodating and we loved them. Cannot wait to come back!!

The property comfortably slept all 20 of our friends and was the most amazingly intimate option for our wedding. I also cannot say enough about the property managers and their crew of this place. Dramatic property with room to spread out
Our family group of 11 adults and 2 children loved our stay at this property. The setting is very dramatic. (There is a great hike just a couple of blocks away, and a beautiful beach area just down the road.) The pool, hot tub, and outdoor spaces are great! We loved the sauna, and the new fire pit area was super. We also played a little pickleball, and the guys watched a few sporting events on the huge tv under the lanai. It was a bonus to have all the bedrooms with their own bathrooms and separate entrances. The kitchen had new appliances and lots of space. We would totally stay there again! That being said, there are a few things to know. Many renovations have been made and are continuing. The pictures on the website at this time do not accurately represent the actuality. There have been lots of improvements, but there are still some things to do--there were some exposed electrical boxes, the dishwasher is not attached, and some of the furniture is rather worn. There is also some basic junkiness that needs to be cleaned up. Roland, the onsite property manager, was very accommodating, and immediately attended to any of our requests. He was around a lot cleaning the pool and watering the grass. (He even brought a huge land turtle down to show our kids.) As previously stated, we loved this property and if they continue on the renovations it will be stunning!

The grounds are amazing with the pool, volleyball and pickleball courts. The house and other building have been newly renovated with AC and new paint and flooring.

The property location was perfect. The views were magnificent. All in all its a wonderful place to stay. Everyone had a wonderful time. The only downside was the renovations were not complete and the cleanliness could have better.

There was 24 people who stayed at the property. The Property manager was very nice and accommodating. It was a beautiful place to stay and a lot of things to do for the kids. Each room had their own entrance which was very nice. There was a big patio area with a big screen TV that the kids loved hanging out. You will enjoy your stay there.

Great, and just you wait!
Ko’olau Plantation Estate is a one of a kind property. What a place for an extended family gathering! Our group of 14 that included ages from 1 to 70 had a blast. An amazing pool and spa and pool house gathering area, newly installed sand volleyball court and sauna, basketball, pickle ball and huge grass area large enough for a luau. The property recently changed hands and there was some deferred maintenance, but the new ownership, property manager and care taker (Thank you Luisa & Tim!) were always available to address any issues. Improvements were being made daily, and the eventual plans for the property are incredible. Our entire family left wanting to return, which is the best recommendation we can make.

50th Birthday/50th State Celebration
Our family and friends helped us celebrate our 50th birthdays and my husband’s 50th state at the Plantation Estate. This beautiful property was PERFECT for our group of 18. The accommodations allowed for everyone to have their own space, yet the gathering spaces were amazing for socializing, enjoying the incredible ocean view and the magnificent mountain background. The main house large kitchen, dining room and patio were perfect for gathering for breakfast before exploring the island. Then, as we all regrouped in the evening, the outdoor gas grill, patio and lanai made our large family cookouts, reconnecting, and card playing perfect for us. The gated pool area was sparkling clean and refreshing. Perfect for relaxing and playing. Having two washers and dryers was so nice. These accommodations are just great! Lastly, Tania was so easy to communicate with leading up to, during, and after our trip. Tania would respond almost respond immediately. The on-site caretaker, Billy, checked in on us everyday, sometimes twice! He was kind, helpful, and very happy to answer all our island questions. We soaked it all in and could not have asked for a better place to celebrate, relax, explore, laugh, play, and make memories!
