First floor unit and was very quiet until the last day when guests moved in to the unit above us. We really enjoyed our long walks on the beaches, especially walking the beach accessed by boardwalk #2. Unit was clean and comfortable.

We love staying at Pelican Watch. This unit is great. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The unit provides 4 beach chairs, which is handy. We decided to not unpack our own beach chairs.

Wonderful getaway!
This was the perfect place for my husband and I to escape for several days. The unit felt like home The location was magical. And we got to see deer, rabbits and even a brightly hued rough green snake. No dolphins this time but several shrimp trawelers silhouetted against brilliant sunsets.

Mom and I so enjoyed this property. Clean and roomy. Easy access to the beach. Which was great for my 82 year old Mom. Convenient to dinning and shopping. Hope to go back soon!

Confusion about bedding. The sheets were put on sideways and were very thin. On the third day I happened to look in laundry closet and found a nice set of sheets in the dryer so I put them on the bed.

Perfect Location!
The pictures of the view do not lie! You are literally as close to the beach as you can get. Just walk down the back steps and over the small dunes and you're there. I sat on the deck with my coffee every morning, watching the dolphins and pelicans feed and trawlers and sailboats sail past the perfect sunsets.
As a woman traveling alone with my dog, this place was perfect for me. There is only one entry/exit gate to the Island with a security gate. We went during the time of year when dogs are allowed off-leash and my girl had a BLAST meeting other dogs, running in the sand and dipping her toes in the mild surf.
The unit itself was clean and comfy. There wasn't anyone around, so I don't know how noisy it would be in the high season, but I could get work done. The Wi-Fi was pretty slow, and I wanted to watch Netflix, so this isn't the place to have a full working vacation. It's a nice place to get away, disconnect and enjoy the island, which is exactly what I needed!
Freshfields is only five minutes away and there are two farmer's markets on Betsy Kerrison Road on the way in with amazing local food (tomato and key lime pie, fresh pasta, local meat, etc.) and a FANTASTIC fried chicken joint called KinFolk within ten minutes from the property.
I spent most of my time walking on the beach with my dog collecting shells and sand dollars, going to the nearby spas, cooking, reading, and relaxing. If that's what you're looking for, then this place is great!

This is a great villa that is updated and so comfortable. I don’t know what more we could have wished for! There is even another door off of the porch that leads to the boardwalk to the beach. Highly recommend this villa and Coastal Getaways.

Couldn’t have had a better vacation.
I have not been to Pelican Watch in over 30 years. It was so nice to be back and stay in a unit that was so clean, beautiful and well decorated. The pictures do not do it justice. So much space. We had our two kids 12 and 5 with us. Short walks down the boardwalk to the beach every morning to find seashells, many sand castles built, as well as 7 trips to the pool. We saw deer, dolphins and pelicans from the balcony along with sunsets right out of a movie. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful condo - wonderful vacation spot!
The condo was spotless when we arrived. It is more spacious and nicer than the pics show. Easy beach access and a wonderful surprise to get a sunset view on an East Coast island! Comfortable king-sized bed. As others mentioned, the kitchen was well-equiped. Spectacular water views from both inside the condo and the deck. Nice sandy beach with gentle waves.

A change of scenery
Despite the rain, the rental was exactly what we needed. This was our first stay on Seabrook Island. It did not disappoint. The view from our rental was outstanding. Quiet is the best way to describe the whole setting. We were comfortable in the unit and it was furnished well. Based on this stay, we'll be back.

Quick get-away!

Great beach for relaxing.
Arrived and checkin was a breeze. Drove to condo. Plenty of parking. Unit was very clean and right on the beach boardwalks. The beach was great and our dog loved it. There are allowable times for dogs to be off leash before 10am and after 5pm. We had our on a 20 foot training leash the whole time and he played the whole time. The island is not close to Charleston so expect a 45 minute drive if that is your thing. We beached it the whole time with a couple of trips to the restaurants in the village. Overall great time for chilling out.

First pup trip!
Overall the experience was great! This was the first time we took our dog to the beach and she had a blast. The location on the beach was great and there was a nice grassy area for her to use the restroom easily especially for those early morning potty times. The house was very clean and comfortable. AMAZING!
I’ve been back for a few days and I am already planning my trip back to this condo! Seabrook Island is stunning, and so relaxing! It was my dog’s first trip to the beach and the location of this condo was perfect for him. The beach was a short walk from the back door and he enjoyed the view from the porch. I highly recommend this condo if you are looking for a chance to recharge.

Summer stay on Seabrook
We enjoyed our stay very much and the procimity to the beach was wonderful. Having the amenity card gsve us access to the pool down the road which was very resort like and inviting. The accomodations were wonderful with a very clean and well stocked home. The restuarants nearby were wonderful and the people very friendly. The only negative I have is that in order to use the fitness facility it was going to cost $15/person/day which is crazy.

Everything you need for a quiet relaxing beach getaway.
This was our first time on Seabrooke and we will definitely be back.
With our schedules and commitments it's difficult to find the time to get away.
We have to say that the whole experience with VBRO, the property management company, the condo itself, and Seabrooke in general was seamless from start to finish for a hassle-free beach get away.
The condo was perfect for two people. It was clean and had everything you need. We especially liked the cool, shared mornings on the deck for drinking coffee and reading with the tides ebbing and flowing in the background.
The beach is a short boardwalk away and was never crowded for a perfect sunbathing environment.
Overall, we were more than pleased with our whole visit to Seabrooke and will keep this unit in mind the next time we plan a beach trip.

We had 4 glorious days walking the beaches and trails of Seabreeze Island. Our accommodations were outstanding, offering everything we could possibly need, and nearby shopping for perishables. The only downside we experienced was that no club facility allows pets. So we were unable to use the club amenities. Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay.

Not what we expected
The location is great, and we enjoyed being able to walk right out to the beach. However, it was not cleaned well. There was women's long dark hair all over the bathroom and towels. The placed smelled overwhelmingly like dog or cat as soon as we walked in -- we think it was the carpet. We brought our dog so this didn't completely turn us off, but we had to go buy scented candles and baking soda to sprinkle on the carpet to make the odor bearable. The place has NO insulation. We were woken up every night between 2 and 3am when the family above us came home from being out. Just them walking up the stairs wakes you up, and then you hear them walking around like people are stomping up there. We also came home one day to maintenance men walking out of our place, which we had not been informed of, and didn't appreciate that someone dropped by to make a repair, and no one called to tell us they were coming. Nor did we know there was an issue that needed to be repaired in the first place, as the AC they were apparently fixing worked fine for us. The management company did reimburse us a very small amount for the maintenance ordeal but all in all, I would not recommend this place. We will not book this house again.
