This location was awesome! We were about 100 yards from the beach so it was an easy walk. It was also perfect for walking to Alys and Rosemary being situated right between the two. We hardly used the car except to get groceries and excursions. It was clean and had all the small amenities. One bedroom was particularly small, but if you put kids there it’s no problem.

We had a great time. Place is lovely and very close to beach. Loved the deck and the captain chairs. Was so fun to sit out there at night and enjoy the surroundings!

Overall enjoyed our stay!
Pros: Great location, Cozy beds & couches, well stocked kitchen, good response from owners
Cons: Check in at 4 pm and check out at 10 am isn't preferred. You are getting there late and have to be out early, which to me you basically lose a day. We had to stay occupied until 4 and change our flights to leave earlier. When your toting luggage these times just aren't convenient. The owner did allow us to keep our luggage at the house for a few hours which was greatly appreciated.
The two bedrooms are not the same. Both beds are King, but in the smaller room there is literally nowhere to put your luggage in the room. No nightstand, nowhere to put makeup when getting ready. We made do, but definitely not optimal. Otherwise, enjoyed the house and our stay. For the reasons above, I wouldn't stay at this house again. However, I did love the neighborhood and location.

We had a great stay. The space was comfortable for the 3 of us. I was impressed with how quickly the manager/owner responded when our AC stopped working. They had someone out within in an hour and we were good to go after that. I love the location. I would stay there again.

Pros:
Great location. Very nice theme! Comfortable furniture. Great AC.
Cons:
Communication from POCs - below average as not immediately responsive.
Cleanliness: sandy floors as we arrived but the owner did send cleaners the next day to clean - was inconvenient as had to wait around. A few white towels had brown spots on them - not very appealing.
Technical issues: TV should be replaced - dead spots on TV, lower section of the TV. HDMI was going in and out - so annoying.
Plumbing:
Bedroom 1: runny toilet, hand sink drainage issues. Poor water flow from shower head.
Bedroom 2: shower head sprays water over the door so wate lands outside of the shower, creating a hazard.
Kitchen: Poured wine into a plastic glass they had and it was leaking - hope it wasn't restacked. Recommend stacking some welcome items - coffee/tea - not having a few pods is atypical for nice rentals. Leave some basic necessities in the place, paper towels, hand soap, etc...
Trash can gate didn't close properly - glad it didn't swing open and ding car.
Bedroom blinds were missing opening rods - annoying b/c couldn't adjust.
Instructions were lacking - did not know you had to use fob for pool access and then the fob had to be held at a specific area on the pool gate panel.
I go down to the area a bit and this rental is positioned well but could use some TLC - shouldn't have some of the issues noted as the unit is nice overall and is not a cheap rental.

We enjoyed how Walkable the location was. Easy access to the beach & shops. The unit itself has everything you need. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and beach chairs. Will stay again. Thank you!

Loved this space and location! Such a cute little cottage. The only thing missing was chip clips.. and we couldn't figure out how to get the dining light and a lamp to work.. walk to the beach and rosemary for shopping/eating was easy. Great stay, we will be back!

This stay was amazing. Nicole and Angelo were very responsive and extremely kind and helpful. Has all the amenities you need, walking distance from a lot of different restaurants and retail stores, and the beach was amazing. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, this is the spot! Definitely booking again VERY SOON! Amazing!!

excellent location south of 30-A, secure gated community, clean, well-maintained cottage w/short walk to beach & pool. not a complaint but suggestion: please get curtain tie-backs for inside and maybe include laundry soap for more than 1 wash. loved the decor/vibe; would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful property. It was perfect for our family of four with cozy beds, a well appointed kitchen, and super comfy living space. The patio and balconies were also great! It’s only a short walk to the beautiful beach, restaurants, and shops. Highly recommend!

We found our stay at Bali Cottage to be very delightful and comfortable. Our host was responsive and took care of everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach with easy access. There were beach chairs and an umbrella that we could use and we didn't have to rent. A short walk also to Alys Beach and Rosemary beach where we could enjoy the shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

Property is ok but definite not a 5 due to broken beach equipment,
minimal beachfront for personal equipment, ratty outdoor furniture and housekeeping demands of guests were more than other rentals yet pricing was higher.
I contacted property manager before trip and asked what to do in case my air travel process was delayed and he said to call him if I was delayed past 10PM CST and he would let me in property gate with his FOB. However, after 3 attempted calls beginning at 10:20 PM CST(where property is located) , he REFUSED to answer my phone calls and I could not get in gate properly.
I had to get another hotel room for the night. I contacted him the next day, asked him to call me....he did not. Then asked to my first night rental $$ back..... He refused instead sent me condescending texts and said he was not responsible for my delays!
I planned ahead for any delays and he did not keep his word.

Great location and access to the beach and restaurants, but I wouldn’t stay again. The bedrooms are very small. There is limited space for luggage and movement in the bedrooms. The bathrooms also have limited space for items. Kitchen chair cushions are dirty and bed throw pillows are stained….ewwww! Tried to address my concerns with the owners, but they were not receptive and quite rude. I’ll be back, but not at this property!!

Location, property, host, we’re all amazing. Quick walk to the beach, Starbucks, restaurants and shopping. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a child. Comfortable beds, bathroom was clean and we had all the supplies we would need

A wonderful stay in the cottage
We enjoyed every minute of our vacation. The cottage was just perfect for our family. The owners were helpful and very quick to reply. We just wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back and would love to stay here again.

Perfect beach house
My husband, 3 year old, and I stayed at the house and it was perfect for us. We could easily walk to the beach and also walk or ride bikes to nearby restaurants. The restaurants in rosemary beach are .5 miles away and if you go to the restaurants in Alys beach they are .3 miles away. We have a great time biking in the mornings to breakfast and getting coffee at Raw and Juicy. We did not experience an overly packed beach and we came during one of the busiest weeks. We rented chairs and had a great time playing in the ocean.
The house was also equipped with tubes, boogie boards, noodles, and sand castle gear. We will definitely be back!

Mother of a time
A perfect Mother’s Day celebration. The home was beautiful and clean. We had all we needed to enjoy our week. From cooking supplies, to paper goods, towels and everything in between, there was not much lacking. The location was perfect. Easy enough to tote two boys age two and under, along with all of their necessities, our umbrellas and chairs, and also enough drinks to keep the mom and dad happy and sane after a day spent in the sun keeping the boys from trying to drown themselves. While also being close enough to all of the shopping and restaurants the area has to offer. We would definitely recommend this property for your next stay.

Great location. Incredible patio with charcoal grill. Also in gated community with two dedicated parking spaces. Short walk to beach and swimming pool. Also short walk to Rosemary Beach and other shops. Great kitchen and appliances. Property was as advertised and we will book again if we return to area.

Amazing
Absolutely perfect stay. Walking distance to dining and shopping. Quick walk to the beach. Kids loved. 3 full bathrooms made it easy for our 2 daughters and one son to have privacy. We spent every night around the fire pit, which was amazing. Will return again and stay in the same place.

Pleasant Visit
Great place for 1 to 4 people. Really enjoyed the well equipped kitchen with all the bowls and utensils you could think of. As is typical of this area, the cottages are located very close together and yet it was very quiet inside. The house was clean and as represented in the photographs.

Great location, great place
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Bali Cottage. The cottage is located right between Aly’s Beach and Rosemary, both about a 1/2 mile away and an even shorter distance to the beach. The place itself was clean and cozy, having everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nicole was extremely accommodating and quick to respond if we had a question. I would definitely recommend staying at Bali Cottage.

Fridge Broken
Unfortunately, the fridge did not work our first two days of the trip. We let the property manager know as soon as we realized it and we were told that the fridge does that sometimes via text from the property manager. We were forced to go buy ice and 6 styrofoam ice chests and fill our bathtub with ice, in order to save all of our food. During all of this, the property manager never returned one phone call about the ordeal and we were frustrated this took up a ton of time on our trip to manage. Luckily, the property maintenance man brought us ice and checked in on us during the trip because he felt so bad. We still managed to have a great trip and loved the house/location, but this situation was a bit of a let down.
