Everything was perfect! The staff were amazing, close to all the beautiful wineyards, tasty champagnes for a good price. Can't recomend it enough!

Le Clos Corbier is located on a quiet street, on the edge of the village Mareuil Sur Ay. The mansion is situated in a beautiful environment and has a wonderful, spacious garden with a terrace, sun loungers and a swimming pool. It offers a guest entrance and free parking space on the backside of the property. The rooms are big and clean, with large comfortable beds and separate bathrooms, all with a private shower and toilet. Free Wi-Fi is available in the main buildings and the rooms. Breakfast is extensive and good, with fresh and local products. Various activities can be booked, like Champagne tastings or e-bike tours. Lots of fine restaurants are in the nearby villages. The host Matthias and the rest of the staff are all very friendly and helpful, to make everyone feel at home and have an exciting time. They can help you with making dinner reservations and have nice tips for visits. Mareuil Sur Ay is located near Epernay, Hautvillers and Cramant. You can find lots of small, family-run Champagne houses nearby, but the bigger Champagne houses that the area is famous for, like Moët & Chandon and Mercier, are also only a few miles away. Our stay was enjoyable and unforgettable! We were so sorry to leave after three nights … We highly recommend Le Clos Corbier! We hope to visit it sometime again. In the meantime, we will enjoy your lovely Guy Mae Champagne (the family brand). Cheers!

We stayed two nights at the Le Clos Corbier and just loved it. The whole team is extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. The location is extremely calm. Breakfast was served in the courtyard of the historic building and tasted delicious. As Matthias, the owner, also has a tour company we were able to rent 4 e-bikes at for a wonderful day trip through the vinyards and lovely villages. Champagne tasted great at the property and they offer shipment to one‘s home. In short… all great. We will come back

Nothing to criticise

The rooms and the property were amazing and beautiful! And the best of all was the staff who did their to help and support the best experience given the circumstances. Loved that the fridge in the common area was filled with champagnes and the guests were trusted to serve themselves and also signed up on the list whenever they took any bottle. We didn't take this opportunity ourselves, being too full after each dinner out. Do take opportunity to visit the family winery Guy Méa! Very interesting experience and also join the master class back at the property. Worth the extra bucks to get deeper in the craft of champagne making!

Breakfast was a bit sparsed. Missed eggs and orange juice in the morning. Also heard the guests next door walking around or moving in their bed. The location not very convenient if you have plans on doing tasting tours in Epernay as you need the car for transportation. Or in our case not able to get to restaurants or Epernay due to the rain and the distance without taking a car or taxi. Renting a electric bike was pricey per day. You could occasionally rent per hour. But

Amazing place, welcoming hosts and lovely breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the swimming pool, the relaxed garden and the option to cook a meal so we did not have to go out for dinner every night with the little one.

Common kitchen could be cleaned a bit better. The pictures on booking.com show a larger room then we actually stayed in (nothing too troublesome).

The house and the garden with pool were super beautiful and charming, and the hosts were extremely kind. Breakfast was lovely with enough choices of great food (try the home made jams). Option to rent e-bikes (follow the advised initiary straight through the vinyards). Also definately try the champagne tasting. Thank you!
