We loved our stay! The house was clean and well stocked. We used the hot tub multiple times during the stay, and were happy to have the garage to store all the bikes, rack, and fishing gear we brought with us. The walk from the house to town was very do-able (about 10 min down, maybe a little longer up since it's uphill). There are plenty of open-able windows to cool the house down in the summer, and most have a great ceiling fan. Beds were comfy, water pressure was nice, it was everything you'd want! We were also delighted to find puzzles and board games in the closet, although we never got around to them.

This is one of the best homes we have stayed at right on the slopes. We loved having 3 separate floors for privacy. The home was beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub right at the slopes was the perfect way to unwind each evening. We plan to return next ski season.

We loved our stay and the location of the property.

This beautifully decorated unit had everything we needed and more. We loved being able to walk out and catch the trail to Sawmill Reservoir and being close enough to walk to town as well. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook quite a few meals, and loved having 3 levels so that everyone had their own space. The hot tub was a wonderful place to wind down at the end of the day. When we had questions or needed anything, the staff at River Ridge was quick to get back to us with answers. We loved it so much we added on an extra day.

Great place for a 3 night stop in Breckenridge for a family summer vacation. House was great, and any issues (broken coffee maker) were immediately resolved by the local property manager.
Walk downhill to downtown with a bus ride back up the hill if you need it. The deck looks out onto the lift and woods with a cool, short trail up to one of the lakes on the slopes to fish or just hike.
Overall great location and the condition of the house was spotless and great for our family of 7, (all 18+ years old).

This was our first time in a ski in and ski out property and it was both beautiful and convenient! Property owners were polite and responsive to texts. Clean and exactly what was advertised online. Only suggestion would be to confirm a list of items already known that are not perfect (missing/broken drawer in kitchen and loose toilet flusher) just to ensure that they acknowledge that we did not break anything.

Me and my friends wanted a ski in and out, that’s what we got. A great 3 story house with the back sliding glass door opening up to a cat walk that ended about 50 yards at a ski lift. I loved it! My snowboarding friends had to walk a bit on the way home because some areas of the catwalk were long and flat. We loved the living room with the fire place and used the hot tub after skiing to soak and have a beer.

This is a really great property. Snowflake run and ski lift are literally out your back door. This is super convenient, especially if you have kids. A short walk to the Free Ride shuttle as well. Gorgeous views of the mountain(s), your own private hot tub, a huge townhome, very responsive management company, a gas grill, a warm gas fireplace, plenty of room for a large family or a few families - this place will not disappoint. We loved our stay and plan to return for sure. Cannot say enough good things about this property and the management company. First class all the way.

This is a really great property. Snowflake run and ski lift are literally out your back door. This is super convenient, especially if you have kids. A short walk to the Free Ride shuttle as well. Gorgeous views of the mountain(s), your own private hot tub, a huge townhome, very responsive management company, a gas grill, a warm gas fireplace, plenty of room for a large family or a few families - this place will not disappoint. We loved the spot! We had plenty of room for relaxing and cooking. The hot tub was great and the morning views are immaculate. You are right on the trial to ski down to the lift and get your day started.

The property is nice except it's a little beat up. We had some issues like no hot water, the hot tub wasn't on and hot, and the sink got clogged. All were fixed by the property manager, but for the price you pay the hot water heater should have been turned up, the hot tub turned on to use. We enjoyed the ski-in and ski-out. Overall I would have spent a bit more for a nicer property.

Retreat at Saddlewood is a true ski-in/ski-out property (not just "real estate classified" ski-in/ski-out) located on the Snowflake run & lift. The Snowflake run is preceded by a catwalk on Lower Sawmill, and two more catwalks on Snowflake itself, prior to reaching the home. Skiers and snowboarders alike will be frustrated with the length & frequency of these. That said, it is merely to set expectations, as it beats having to take a shuttle/bus or find/pay for parking.
The townhome itself is showing its decades of wear and tear and is no longer "luxur[ious]." The still photographs are not an accurate representation of the current state of the home. I would encourage all prospective renters to closely review the virtual tour [VT] - and utilize its zoom feature - which is much more accurate.
There is not a single centimeter in the entire place that isn't marked up/damaged/dysfunctional (this is viewable in the VT). The two sets of patterned chairs are blown out and generally just feel disgusting (the condition of the chairs is viewable in the VT). The carpet in the lower level is particularly matted and dirty (viewable in the VT); there are bleach stains on the main level (viewable in the VT); there is separation from the adjacent flooring in several doorways. The vertical partitioned blinds on the sliding glass door on the main level are quite literally falling apart and some of the panels are only 1⁄3 or 2⁄3 of their full length.
The towels were great. The linens have visible, round discolored stains on them, and the duvets are clearly not changed after each guest. We're doing "extra" cleaning because of COVID, but not changing duvets?
Both trash bins and a cardboard box were filled from previous guests upon arrival, but was cleared out by a maintenance man who came hours after the 4:00 pm check-in time to replace a broken toilet seat. The hot tub appeared to be serviced on our second day, but RRR did not call to com

Our family of nine stayed at Saddlewood for a vacation in December of 2021. The accommodations were excellent. The property manager is very professional and quick to respond to any request or need. The only unexpected issue pertained to our ability to ski-in and ski-out, which was halted due to the closure of the Snowflake Trail leading to the condo. Of course, this issue was due to a lack of snow and out of the control of the owner or property manager. Nonetheless, we were able to shuttle everyone from the base of Peak 9 to the condo expeditiously. Overall, we had a great experience!

Awesome Quick Getaway
We went to Breckinridge to get away for a long weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday. The property was fantastic (would be even more fantastic if the Snowflake lift was open!) and was great space. Great kitchen and all the utensils. The property owners consistently texted us asking if we needed nothing at all. It was a great getaway!

We have stayed in this home five times during August. It is an outstanding location. Close to town, hiking, fishing and more. There are 6 adults and 4 children, now 9-11 and they have a ball. While we are from Denver, our daughter is from Allen, Texas, and there is now a cluster of her friends renting in the Saddlewood complex. See you next year.
