Wow what a great little place! Very clean and super convenient with the boat slip right next to it. The owners were super friendly, accommodating and always very responsive. We loved it there and will definitely go back!

Haven't been here since 2006. Would come yearly with family. Great memories. Brought tears to my eyes to see so much recover Still needed after more then a year ago hurricane. But happy to hear Berts will be rebuilt and to see the progress made. Had a wonderful visit and would return to Anglers Inn.

This unit was very clean and cute. The shower was excellent. There was a coffee pot and they provided coffee. (We brought our own) The second bed is really a pull out couch and a little uncomfortable for an adult. The location is awesome. And the best part is they let me bring my dog.

Property claims to sleep 4. We booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, the pullout couch is a single. Definitely not space for 4 to sleep and we were charged in the booking for extra people

Great place to stay. you can walk to the shops on the island.
Property was clean and had everything we needed. We walked to the coffee shop for breakfast, came back and took a nap or went fishing. Some days we just took a ride on the bike. We walked to the Tiki bar or the Blue Dog. We just rested and enjoyed each other.

Perfect Winter Getaway
Upon arriving at Angler's Inn in Matlacha, we were immediately greeted by the owner and given a tour of the property as well as our room. We loved walking out our back door to the water view and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would recommend and plan to visit again.

Perfect Home away from Home
This is our 2nd time staying here and it was just as amazing. Quiet, cozy, and has everything you could need to enjoy a weekend in. All the little shops and a few restaurants are within walking distance. The owners are super friendly and responsive if any problem arise. Just a wonderful experience all around.

The area and the people were very nice. The community made you feel very welcomed. Many things to do and places you can go.
The place itself would be better for a short term stay for me rather than a long term one. Also with the size of the rooms it would be easier for just 2 people. (1 less bed would give more room) There was not a stove ( only a hot plate) or full size refrigerator so cooking was difficult. I had brought groceries that I wouldn’t have had I known the frig was small. Our bathroom door did not close and only a small wardrobe for closet.

Wonderful and relaxing
We stayed here because it is a pet friendly place. So happy that we did. This is the perfect people place, too. The screened in patio and lovely dock area was more than we hoped for. The shops and restaurants were a fun way to pass the time. Everything was amazing. Well done!

Disappointed
We were swayed by all the other positive reviews of this place, but couldn't see what others saw I guess. It has the basics, but just seemed a bit shabby. And the bed and pillows were terrible. We'd come from Cedar Key where we'd paid a similar price and we had an entire cottage that was amazing. The pics here don't really portray the outside. It's a narrow inlet and the only fish are catfish, and even fish-feeder stole my quarter!! It is a sleepy little quirky town where everything shuts at nine (including food), so it's good to come prepared for early nights. I hate writing a negative review, but Imaybe the owners may update the bed etc, so other renters aren't disappointed as we were.

Friendly and homey place to say. Great location. Really appreciated using the kayaks - really a plus to the stay. Close to everything - can walk to all the shopping. Our room had everything we needed to prepare meals since we have dietary restrictions. Good sized refrigerator. Loved the private screened in patio. Pleasant stay. Thank you Jeanette. We'll keep your place in mind when we return to Matlacha.

We visit Pine Island often and have never stayed over night. It was fun!
We enjoyed our stay. It's handy to be able to park and walk everywhere, eat, shop, see the galleries and have a nice place to return to and relax on the dock. We enjoyed talking to the neighbors while watching the birds and fish. A fun time. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you!

Fantastic stay
We have just returned from staying 10 nights at Anglers Inn and what a fabulous time we had. Janette and Karl were so kind and couldn’t have done more for us. We went fishing with Karl on a few occasions and were lucky enough to see manatee, dolphins, sea eagles and even raccoons having a tasty breakfast of oysters. The location of the place is brilliant, walking distance to amazing restaurants (the Blue Dog being our favourite) and galleries. We borrowed some bikes from Janette and Karl and cycled around and even went for a leisurely kayak ride. Anglers Inn has everything we needed and we are so glad we stayed there.
