host responded quickly and was able to direct us on how to use the mini-splits. Some written directions in addition would be useful. Location was great for easy access to the hikes we wanted to do.

It was very clean and quiet neighborhood. Great place to base out of if you are visiting Catskill, Olana Historic Site, Thomas Cole Museum, Kaaterskill Falls, etc. The apartament has lots of amenities that I did not take advantage of such as s hammock, grill, outdoor patio etc. If you want a quiet place where you can hear a literal babbling brook 24/7 and veautiful bright start ar night then this is your site.

The only thing that people should be aware of are the stairs. There is a narrow and tall flight of stairs to gain access to the apartament. If you have any mobility issues please take note.

Perfect little apartment, exceptionally clean and hosts were very friendly and readily available when needed. Great location, quiet and near many attractions, walking trails, lakes and swimming holes. Definitely need a car to get around the area.

The apartment was so perfect. Each room was cozy and comfy. The kitchen was completely stocked with all that we needed. I absolutely loved the leather sofa seat around the kitchen table. It was like having a sofa in the kitchen :) The hosts couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating (and seriously, hot brownies delivered at your door?? can't beat that :) We loved the location too in the quiet countryside, near hiking trails as well as lovely towns such as Woodstock and Hudson not too far away. We even jumped into the stream across the street one evening after our hike!

Everything was just perfect! We have spent wonderful time. It was very relaxing. Lea and Jeff were the best hosts I have ever had. The place has everything that I could think of. I highly recommend the place.

There not one thing to complain about!

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were great, so nice to chat with, and they gave us lots of recommendations what to do, where to go and where to eat and all turned out to be fantastic experiences! Our kids loved to play with the stones at the river which is right in front of the house. Hikes in the mountains are just a few minutes by car.

Very well equipped. We did not use the kitchen facilities but it seemed as though everything needed was there. Nice quiet location. Good Wifi.

Fantastic little apartment. Close to Woodstock, Saugerties and the Catskills. Great hiking near by. Excellently well equipped kitchen, enormous comfy bed, WiFi capable of Netflix streaming. Lea is a fantastic, welcoming host. Highly recommended.

The location was quiet and secluded but next to a beautiful forest and not a far off drive from many small towns and attractions in the Catskills. The service we received was excellent, with the owners eagerly answering our questions, bringing us extra things we needed and even surprising us with fresh baked brownies.

We really liked how spacious the lodging was and the location. The sound of the creek across the street was beautiful and the home is located on a very quiet street.

Lots of spiders right before you enter the premise and there were quite a few stink bugs inside where we resided. The process for receiving our keys could have been better as well.

Beautiful property near a rushing creek. We stayed in an upstairs apartment attached to the main house. The apartment has 2 separate bedrooms. The common area is a small kitchen/dining area. Each room has a separate window A/C unit. Everything was very clean, and the host was lovely and responsive. The neighborhood is residential, and walkable. Walking distance from the property is a charming local cafe/market Circle W, and a Dollar General. Palenville is a short drive from North South Lake, Catskill, Kingston and Saugerties.
