The house was spacious with a lovely outdoor deck and plenty of lounge chairs around the heated pool. The outdoor shower and bathroom was such a great amenity. There were plenty of beach chairs & umbrellas as well as a cart for a short walk to the beach. Town and restaurants were a short walk too. The central air worked well. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We loved the chandelier in the rooms it added a cozy feel.

The house looked just like the photos. It was clean, updated and spacious, both indoors or out. The full outdoor bathroom was great, giving us 3 full bathrooms to utlized. The pool was amazing and we used it every day. There were tons of pool toys, plus beach chairs and umbrellas, all in great shape. We had a few questions about getting into the house, and the reponse was quick. If we come back to Ocean Beach, we would definitely look to rent this house again.

The description and posting of the property do not do it justice. The outdoor space is amazing and the bedrooms were much bigger than anticipated. Would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful way to end the summer.
I am not one to write reviews so I will keep this short and sweet, if you want a place that you can take the family that all can enjoy this is the house. The pool will serve as a great in between (beach & town) distraction, so you don't get the "I am bored" talk from the kids. And for the adults sitting outside at night, relaxing under the stars is a great way to end a day. Highly recommend!!!

Cannot beat the location for proximity to town and beach being equal. The pool is a tremendous bonus for family and friends and came as advertised. While questions came up about the house during the week that went unanswered the house itself was perfect for our family of 5 and guests. Recommend.

Loved our stay
Had a wonderful time, and Kelly was very helpful when I ran into issues (as in... I didn't realize you had to take a ferry to get to Fire Island... I know this now and should have researched better!). Highly recommend this home and location. The pool was fabulous and so was the grill and entire island. There were even fun pool toys!

Perfect Ocean Beach Rental
We had an amazing time at this property. While Fire Island is a wonderful getaway, I think this house made our stay even better. The location is perfect - a short walk to both town and the beach. The property is ideal. Inside, the bedrooms were all sizeable and plenty of linens and pillows made them comfortable. There were also plenty of towels, both for the beach and for the shower which was nice. The washer and dryer were new and helped us stay ahead of the laundry that piles up on vacation. The kitchen and living areas are very well designed and feautre high-end appliances. While we didn’t eat in during our stay, you definitely could. The outdoor area, including the grilling area and the pool are unique in Fire Island. First, the size - it’s huge. A large outdoor dining area with the grill complement the various other seating areas nicely. Secondly, the pool - it’s fantastic. Our son was 2.5 during our stay so the ocean is a bit too much for him still. Having the pool made made a big difference - he wanted to stay in it all day. They also have every pool float ever made which was fun for all of us. Communication with the owner was easy via email, though not needed since there really weren’t any problems. Overall we had a great time and definitely hope to rent this property again in the future.

Perfect location, amenities, and great vibes
We came back to this house after spending a week there with a friend’s family last year. It is a great family friendly house with a perfectly sized swimming pool and outdoors deck area for grilling and dining. We spent a good amount of time soaking up the sun in the beach which is only a short walk from the house and also spent time in Ocean Beach town checking out shops and restaurants, also only a few minutes walk. The only issue we had was the air conditioner that did not work one night for some reason. We had to shut it down and reboot the next day which took a bit of patience, but Kelly responded to us promptly to help troubleshoot and checked in with us regularly to make sure things were back to normal. We are grateful for another amazing stay at the house.

Beautiful, relaxing stay in Ocean Beach
Our group of couples had a wonderful time staying at the house! The entire house was beautiful, spotless, and super relaxing. We barely made it to the beach (even though it was super close) because the pool and backyard were so enticing! We stayed for a week and couldn't say enough positive things about this property. Additionally, Kelly was a gracious and responsive host - a dream to work with.

Beautiful and relaxing
We wanted a quiet relaxing weekend with another family and their young children. The house was very close from ferry station and also a short walk to the beach. Because it is early June, weather was cloudy and rainy at times, but we had a good amount of sunny and nice breezy weather that was perfect for lazy afternoons in the beach. The house was gorgeous (we looked for a while but couldn't find anything like this house in FI) and it was perfect for young families like us. We were warned that swimming pool was still getting ready, which was a bit disappointing, but the weather turned out to be perfect for just lounging around and grilling outside rather than dipping in the water, so it worked out for us. :)

A beach house full of charm and luxury!
We decided to get away at the last minute from the unexpected heat in the city, and it was the BEST decision ever. We had vacationed in Fire Island before, but always in the summertime when the beach usually got packed with people and there were a lot of activities in town. Fire Island in the off-season was a quite different (in a pleasant way!) experience. The weather was glorious and the beach was so peaceful. There were still quite a few visitors and many stores and restaurants were open in town to make us feel welcome. The best part was the house we stayed in. It was simply beautiful and luxurious! We enjoyed everything from the reclaimed hardwood flooring, French doors, high end kitchen appliances to built-in surround system and lighting throughout the house that helped set the mood right, to name a few. ;) Swimming pool was not open for the season yet, but we are looking forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy it thoroughly. There were plenty of floaters, beach umbrellas and chairs, etc. The outdoors grill and dining area was spacious and perfect for group dining. Getting around was easy because beach was only a block away and the town and ferry station was a short pleasant walk away. Overall, we could not have asked for more, and we are looking forward to returning.
