The breakfast was wonderful. The castle is beautiful. There is a true botanical garden and the staff sang for my son's birthday. We enjoyed the the piano and the spa.
Meals could improve; all though specialty dinners are offered; there should also be hearty and less fancy meals.

Very beautiful grounds, calming environment. Very clean, very kind staff. Loved the fireplace in the large knights room. Food is good but not exceptional. Cake was a treat though.
The temperature of the pool was too cold. We did not like the seperate duvets on the bed, one big would have been more comfortable.

Porter is a very nice and genuine guy. Property is pretty & in good location, friendly staff but a little untrained as how to handle guests under the current rules
Wasnt asked if id been vaccinated so they instantly jumped to the conclusion that i needed to be tested. The girl doing the test was very pleasant though.
AC was not working in room and they new beforehand and yet did not inform me, i had to leave 2 days early because of this and their inability to house me in a room with working Ac

The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Having stayed here before, the restaurant was quite disappointing. Limited choice & felt rather basic. The Michelin star restaurant was not available but I thought that the standard restaurant would have still been a good experience. It wasn't. We were woken on the first day starting at 06.30hrs by noisy loading, when questioned (ie. would this be repeated) they had no clue. The noise disturbed us again the next morning. So much for a restful break! Our complaint was dismissed at checkout.
