Booked at last minute due to needed to pull up through the night as we still had 3 hours before reaching home.
Upon entry looked like a war zone due to major Reno’s going on, then on entry the beds are old and saggy in the middle. Light bulbs not fitted so open sockets in family room for kids to poke fingers in. Spiderwebs on corners as per pic, the vents have not been cleaned in a long time. Then we put milk into the fridge to find 2 old off milk bottles still in there plus the fridge wasn’t even turned on. Was very disappointed should have drove into some other motels we passed that had vacancy’s but oh well.

The room was tidy and clean.
The bedding was newer with bottom and top sheet.
My dog sleeps in the car but they were dog friendly with a walking area next to the motel.

We were looking for somewhere to stay overnight on our way back to Melbourne & the reviews on this place were good. It was comfortable enough for an overnight stay.
It might be better to describe this place as an old style motel. The property is a bit old & could use some freshening up.

Easy to find as we drove into town. Walking distance to shops and restaurant. Room size was good and very clean. Bed was great with electric blankets.

Comfortable bed, nice sized rooms, Hayley was absolutely great when we raised a problem with her.
The first room we were put in the extra pillows in cupboard had mold on them and floor was wet. We were moved to new room.

The three children loved the big pool. We found the rooms very cosy and well suited for a family. Spacious. Crockery and utensils to serve up a meal. A nice big kitchen table. Its not flash but provided everything we needed to come home to after a day out exploring . 😊
The Mother of one child suggests the door from kitchen into meeting room be locked from the unit as she didnt want the children going in there.

Realised I left a (new) t-shirt in the bathroom . Called them early the next day and the woman who answered phone advised she had found it and would post through the week. I stated several times to transfer post costs immediately. Had to re ring them a week or so later ( as not t shirt received) and another woman said she would follow up but didn't! Why BS if no intention to do what you say.??Basic older style motel on the main trucking route north so we could hear trucks all night.

The room was neat enough. The cups, plates and cutlery were dirty in the hand basin. Everything else seemed clean.
There were no clean cups, we had to wash the dirty dishes in the hand basin from the previous visitors.

The staff was sensational! The room was very comfortable for the whole family. It was the perfect location to stop on our drive north to Queensland. And the dinner recommendation at the Imperial Hotel was perfect!
This is an older establishment so be aware of this. Plus, it is near the main road so you will hear trucks driving past all night. And, perhaps, the dark brick could do with a lightening up.
