Unsure if the dining room was set up for summer crowds, but for this disabled lady having the drinks on one side of the room and the food on the other was tiring. Kind guests helped me out. All the handwash and shower liquids were too far away to be used, so Im glad I brought my own liquids with me. The bedside telephone didn't work on Friday evening and it was due to be connected Saturday but that didnt happen. Had my mobile with me. Again, height-related: all Portuguese hotels assume that their guests are very tall. Could not use the hanging rail in the wardrobe (no trampoline provided!), all kitchenware and bath towels had to be brought down and placed on surfaces for me to us. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

What an amazing stay! THe apartment was gorgeous, the bed one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the pools were lovely. The staff were so friendly, the breakfast great and the bar area really nice and relaxed. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Nothing - it was all fantastic!

Breakfast was allrt, nothing out of the ordinary. Room was great for a family. Peaceful. Nice garden and balcony. you can walk 5 min downhill and come across a beautiful view of the ocean. The closest beach is 15-20 min away by walk but you can always get an Uber. Plenty of restaurants on the beach. overall great stay. if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is an ideal location. (if you are driving for the first time here, it can be a bit confusing).

Most things. Everywhere was really clean and the pool was beautiful. Breakfast laid out so lovely and the all the staff were incredibly friendly and the house cat! The pool table is great and having access to books is a nice touch. Staff are all very helpful. The beds are amazing! Every night I got into my beautiful made crisp clean bed and felt like royalty. So clean and comfy and HUGE! Our room had lots of space. The whole accommodation isn't huge here so there is no sunbed battle and never really more than 2/3 in the pool at a time. There were children and babies around but it never felt a problem/noisy. The pool area felt very exclusive as so well kept and not many people. Didn't swim in the other pool as no need. The kiddy pool is excellent and separated larger kids from the toddlers. This place is great as a base. We did lots of tours and went out quite a bit. But if u do just want to lay by the pool this is great. Really nice reception area with tv and relaxing to play cards. Oh and tvs in rooms nice touch. The sofa bed in my mums room was awesome and very comfortable for our 15 year old 6ft son. Fresh towels everyday and not tiny ones. Useful to have a map of complex and surrounding area. Information pack with breakfast times and other useful info. This place is very clean but also very tired in places and needs a face lift. Bathrooms are clean but need bits replacing like sealant and some paint peeling off some walls in corridors needs attention. Found the small plates at breakfast a little retricting as don't want to keep going up for food. Toaster needs replacing as only does 2 slices a time. There was a flavoured water avaliable all day but ideally a cold plain water supply would of been ideal. Wasps were a pain outside at breakfast but mastered this with a piece of ham on a plate in the centre of our table. They all went to it and left our breakfasts alone! Oh and the seagull who stole my breakfast needs a telling off although the patter of their feet on the canvas sail cover is adorable! I'm hoping these things are not taken negatively as they are more suggestions I think would help. Staff are excellent and was very impressed with how friendly and helpful they are. Thanks for having us!

Just what we wanted,private,quiet,clean,modern,well thought out layout of the resort very organised breakfast buffet always friendly smily faces in the morning willing to assist you in anyway needed couldn't fault it perfect for us a very relaxed atmosphere. 😀 pool towels provided rooms cleaned daily if required and a very useful well equipped kitchenette perfect for a lazy lunch and back to the sunloungers to top up the tan and a little nap! Loved the large shower area and decor in the bathroom spot on 👍

One thing that did Mar the stay was sadly a family below our apartment who seemed think the pool area and patio area belonged to them solely all the 3 small children's detritus scattered all over the floor and surrounding area ,continual screaming from said children which seemed to never stop unless they went out for the day, and then returned with very over tired, grumpy children and a chronic case of parents ,that really had no clue of social etiquette ot sensitivity to other guests I know this was rather unfortunate , but it did have an impact on our longed for escape away.

Our poolside apartment with separate bedroom was very modern, clean and comfortable. Bathroom and shower was really spacious. Kitchen was well-equipped. Terrace had a great view of one of the pools. Breakfast buffet was delicious, with different kinds of bread, meat and cheese, cookies, cereals, fruits and various coffee options to choose from. You can enjoy the breakfast even on the deck next to the second pool. Lovely gardens around the property. Easy and free parking possibilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Short walk down a hill to the ocean and approximately 20 min walking distance to the center of Luz.

This is a fine aparthotel. The apartments are large enough to justify the apartment label, and the facilities are adequate for a decent hotel. This was our last stop in a 2-week tour of the country and we needed space to pack, and the facilities to relax and wind down, and this was ideal. Our room/apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped, serviced daily. Despite being set back a block from the shore, we looked out over a sparkling pool, through palm trees to the ocean beyond. It is away from the bustle and small streets of the centre of town, but the walk back is less than than 10 minutes, even when slowed by a large dinner and a couple of bottles of wine. Staff were unobtrusive and very helpful- they agreed to a late check-out on account of our flight out of nearby Faro being a late-evening take-off. The walk to the beach is a little longer, but worth it, as is the walk westwards along the rocky seashore. In short, accommodation to be recommended.

We had a lovely apartment, everything was spotless! Such a beautiful area. Not too far to walk to restaurants, etc. Breakfast was delicious (amazing fresh fruit), bar on property was open until midnight. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Wonderful experience!

A lovely stay at the hotel. I was solo for a few days and felt very safe and the facilities were amazing. We got a free room upgrade so we got a sea view which was lovely. Fantastic pool, close to the beach, restaurants and shops.

There wasn’t much of an atmosphere with other guests, and the staff were very relaxed about things (sometimes felt like we were annoying them by asking for a drink at the bar, for example). A perfect place for a quiet getaway though It would be great to have some more veggie/vegan options at breakfast too

Very professional and friendly reception. Thee breakfast was great- a good variety, very clean restaurant. The staff were amazing, from the cleaning crew to the management!
