Hamilton Square was beautiful , other parts of Birkenhead not so nice but the apartment was a five minute walk to train station to get in to Liverpool . Took 10 mins .

The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that there was no washing up liquid so had to buy some

Beautiful location and appointment.

Battery of the fire allarm in the stairwell was low and therefore made a beeping noises in the very regular intervals 24/7. Impossible to mute it despite closing every door there was. Also a bit dusty which doesn't bothered me but it's an observation for future improvement as other guests may not be so forgiving.

Great location, close to a train station. No street/outside noise. nice view over opposite park, had own carpark around the back.

Smoke alarm in hallway outside the apartment low battery warning kept beeping. Tried phoning contact number & never got a reply, also sent a text about it & no reply. It was very high up & we were unable to reach it to turn it off. Thankfully we were so tired after Eurovision we managed to sleep even with the beating every few minutes.

Excellent location and access, views were brilliant over Hamilton Square, the decor inside is so tastefully done and comfortable.

The downside to this property were none of the lamps worked at all, if we were staying longer than a weekend i would have said something but the down lights in the kitchen area were okay instead, there is no corkscrew, scissors, salt & pepper or bottle opener in the kitchen and the bathroom had marks left in the bath and on the toilet, overall it’s the location of the apartment you’re paying for here not the actual apartment because the apartment is well decorated but it’s facilities inside are very basic and cleanliness is an issue.

Location was ideal for trip into Liverpool. Apartment was spacious and well equipped for family.

Gates didn't work to car park and no sheet for bottom bunk.

It was ideal for all our needs. Train station to Liverpool only 5 mins away. Any problems, there was always someone at the end of the telephone to help. Would recommend it Fürther.

Nice apartment with high quality furniture overlooking a quiet square. Train station (2 metro stops from Liverpool Central) only a pleasant 5 min walk away.

Birkenhead is a little down-at-heel, but felt safe. Apart from a loud late bar just down the road the area is very quiet.

Location was superb, house was comfortable with safe private parking.

Windows had some dirty blinds in one of the rooms. However, house was generally clean.

Excellent sized apartment with a large lounge and dining area and good sized bedrooms. The location was great, a 5 minute walk to a metro stop and only 1 stop to the docks in Liverpool. Limited eateries in Birkenhead although the ferry terminal had some good options. The parking space was very helpful, and on street parking for extra cars easily available for £5 all day. The entry instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Toilet seat was too small which was unpleasant. There was a constant high-pitched buzz in the hallway that you could still hear in the flat. A dishcloth or similar would be helpful to enable us to clean up as requested Also, it would be helpful to mark up the parking spaces as the other occupants kept blocking our car in.

Superb location in a lovely Georgian square which was not too busy or noisy. (see photos) Very close to train station so ideal for accessing the centre of Liverpool, and exploring other parts of the Wirral. Large, spacious rooms in apartment with very comfortable bed and sofa, good storage, and good quality TV. Bathroom generally good. Overall we enjoyed staying in this apartment.

A few things were disappointing. The most serious was the toilet seat which was loose and did not seem to fit. Cooking pots are now needing replaced (loose handles etc) and could have done with more cooking utensils; the frame of one dining chairs was twisted and felt unsafe; we would have preferred a curtained bedroom to aid sleeping on bright summer nights; we felt the living area would have benefitted from a coffee table; it would also have been useful to have a full-length mirror. Finally, it would be good to have a warning label on the fridge/freezer plug/socket. It was at the opposite end of the kitchen area from the appliance and we inadvertently switched it off one night - in the middle of the heatwave!!

it felt unsafe for a 4 year old: windows very low and the steps to the bunk bed was missing a screw and thus unstable. layout of living room a bit weird. i.e. long distance between sofa and tv.

The location was great access to lots without having to drive. Comfortable and spacious. Lovely view of the Park and pretty lights.

No cork screw or baking dishes for oven or pizza tray.
