Convenient to Gatwick Airport. Friendly staff and great breakfast

Location and atmosphere

Quite a hard bed but that's just a personal preference!

The bed was way to small and gaps down the sides of the bed so obvious that a small bed was put in its place the cups in bathroom dirty only 1 bottle of water no privacy as room looked onto a family garden so curtains had to stay closed the room was shocking I expected my husband to fit in the bed he is 6ft 4 and we had a terrible nights sleep will not be booking the crown plaza again

The room was disgusting old ripped quilt cover carpet dirty old fashioned dirty windows very poor The bathroom had no privacy looked out the window family playi g in garden could see everything in the room the safe did not work the hotel was worse than a travel lodge

Staff, extremely helpful and attentive. Restaurant staff were one step above friendly and helpful.

Nothing! From parking to checkout was perfect.

I stayed one night due to a cancelled flight and it cost £200. The room was very old, bits of carpet worn away and bare, duvet cover was torn and the bathroom wasn't clean, I had to rice the shower before using it and the sink handles were covered in finger prints/stains. At this price I expect a lot more!

Room was clean, the air conditioning was fantastic! Breakfast was also very good and a lot of options.

Halls were a bit dirty and carpets need to be cleaned or replaced.

Clean, excellent staff (despite me being very grumpy and tired), and lovely breakfast.

The only comment would be - It would be great to have better coffee at breakfast.

Free shuttle to the airport not available so had to pay £18 for a taxi.

Hot water consistency

The beds were like clouds to sleep on. The staff fabulous special thankyou to the blonde lady arrival manager who was so helpful.

Service work was being undertaken on room next door. BUt were very attentive to when we were out for the day.

The lounge staff wasnt so nice

We had 2 stays. The first one I got notified "no show" even though I messaged the hotel that the flight was cancelled and reschedule for the next day. When I arrived to check in the only room available for me was 2 seperate single beds. Due to late arrival I didn't even try to get a better room. it was a little bit disappointment for me and my partner. During the next stay I stayed in double bed room which was OK.
