The hotel location was perfect for the activities I planned
The standard of hygiene is very low, in particular the hotel accept guests with their dogs; however, no efforts made to policing ‘no dogs allowed’ in the eating area except for guide dogs policy. The lack of enforcing the hotel policy contributed to the suboptimal hygiene standards.

Breakfast was good!
There was no one at reception desk for more than 20 min and there was no one to ask for help!
Restaurant wasn’t working at 6.30pm so we had to go somewhere else to find something to eat!
There was not any shower gel or shampoo in the room.
Only one bath tower for 3 of us!
Staff was not enough for breakfast.
There was no milk for cereal , apple juice,one of the coffee machine runs out of milk for coffee and unforgettable only one of the staff was trying to keep on top of that and clearing the tables at the same times.
For the money we paid for one night I think that is not acceptable!
We will think twice before we book again with IHG!!!

Staff were all amazing. So helpful and so friendly. They are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was great too, great selection and all very tasty.

Waited a while for someone on the desk when we arrived to book in.and breakfast not much to choose from .and bed covers were ripped at the bottom .

dirty spoons in room, iron not working in office so it had to be shared waiting for one room to finish using it, arrived and not aware of our booking through Booking.com, waited a while until we could check in.

Food, staff were friendly, hotel clean
£20 cost per dog, per night is obscene. For this reason, I will not stay again at a Holiday Inn Express. It made me and my pet feel unwelcome at the hotel.

No iron in room
people were smoking in the rooms and stench was very strong on level 2.
No smoking means no smoking!
Nothing was done to address the issue.
