The two staff on reception when we arrived were extremely helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. They are an asset to the hotel

Indeed, we truly enjoyed the hotel's ambiance and the exceptional behaviour of the staff. We were celebrating our son's first birthday on July 2nd, 2023. There was a lady staff on the dining during breakfast who, somehow, noticed the way our son was dressed and realized it was his special day. She went out of her way to surprise us by leaving a few adorable small gifts in our room. When we returned to our room and discovered the thoughtful gesture, we were overwhelmed with joy and surprise. We've kept some of those delightful items as cherished souvenirs. We would like to express our utmost appreciation for her warm and considerate demeanour. We also appreciate the fact that the hotel provides luggage storage options for guests who may need it after checking out.
Adding a live omelette station to their breakfast offerings would have been fantastic, providing guests with more variety. Despite the hotel's location on the outskirts of Birmingham, it is conveniently situated near a bus stop, making it easily accessible via public transportation.

Very friendly staff, very helpful as always. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant and again staff were very helpful during breakfast.

We were given a warm welcome at Reception when we arrived. The first thing I noticed was how smart and clean everything was, it even smelled nice. We were given a ground floor room which was ideal because of mobility issues.
The bathroom was spacious and bright and included a walk in power shower with complimentary toiletries. The towels, bathmat and bedlinen was spotlessly clean and the beds were lovely and comfortable. The room had everything we needed to be comfortable.
Next morning we went along for breakfast and noticed that there was such a good choice of food. We chose hot food and it was all cooked to a good standard and well presented.
A little bit noisy, but this is understandable; as the Hotel is situated on a busy road; and we had the window open a little for fresh air.

Location was very convenient. Not too far to drive from the city centre. Supermarkets less than 5 minutes drive away and She’ll garage right next door! Staff were super friendly and really supported us with our two young kids’ needs. Breakfast was fine and rooms were cleaned daily during our stay.

Only minus and a big negative was having less Vegetarian options ! Also placing baked beans and egg in the same bowl just next each was disappointing.. many customers used the same ladle for egg and beans . This could have been avoided .

Breakfast was average, not a lot of choices, but what was there was ok and good. Would expect a bit more options but value was ok for the price of the accommodation.
Cleanliness, maintenance of property and room/reception furniture of the hotel could be maintained better or rather on a higher level, but again value was ok for the price of the accommodation.

Room was great, my pet got a treat pack including a ball, on arrival, I was given toothbrush and Toothpaste as this was a spontaneous stay. The staff were really friendly and inviting. There were hairs in the bathroom though. Check out was 11am. Breakfast was great. I ordered veggie sausages.
Hairs in shower cubicle and another key card was in the electric socket as I entered the room. Also, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9.45am to see if I had checked out. Check out was 11am. This made me feel rushed.

We stayed in a disabled accessible room, which was very dark. No dressing table and mirror so had to move desk chair to do hair sing long mirror on the wall. The iron just leaked water all over the clothes. Went down to Breakfast at 8:30am and the bacon, sausage and scrambled egg were all cold. The orange juice tasted like it was diluted.

Location was a bit out of the way for those wanting to visit Birmingham city centre. Breakfast was included, which was a nice addition to the stay, however some parts of the breakfast did not taste very nice such as the orange juice which was watery.

Cleaner lady knocking the doors of all rooms at 8am asking to clean the rooms. Very unprofessional.
