Small shower but it was hot

The location was perfect. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The reception staff were helpful and sorted out storage for our bikes.
Our bathroom was missing a shower screen/curtain and plug in the basin so it was a bit tricky not to flood the place. The breakfast staff were not helpful, and almost seemed to resent us being there.

Location excellent - right on the port, 2 minutes walk from beach. Lots of restaurants & bars nearby (but we ate in the hotel). Good to experience local life - especially from the bar next door until 2.30am! No problem, we had been warned, & we were so tired after a long days drive we had no problem sleeping.
Parking nearby was tricky.

Hotel is adequate for one person stay.
This was my second stay and I have always been satisfied.
Very good restaurant.
Shower door fouled wash handbasin. I could just squeeze in!

Not much to complain about for the price. I loved it here.

We have stayed here before so knew what to expect, we had a room at the front overlooking the port, there are bars either side of the hotel and were warned by the manager that it could be noisey at night, and it was!
The lift is very small, 1 person and 1 piece of luggage, we didn't order breakfast as its only basic, coffee and croissant.

The view from the bedroom window was stunning. We live miles away from the sea so to have a view of it and the boats on it was lovely. We also liked the fact we were right on the street of the restaurants and just a short walk the other way took us to the beach.
The bathroom. It needed updating.

Superb location. Good or great food in the restaurant. Breakfast coffee or chocolate, croissant, baguette and jam, all very good and you CAN ask for another coffee. Friendly helpful staff mostly accommodating ( but hotel had few guests to serve, before school holidays, would they need extra staff at peak season?). Really good double glazing in our room shuts out any noise when you don't want it. Comfy bed and plenty of hot water out of season. WiFi works and decent mobile signal in room. Faultlessly clean and Covid conscious. Once parked up don't need a car. Far easier to get around on foot/bike/public transport. Can have bike in your room. Could walk/bus/water taxi to everywhere we wanted to explore Lots of choice of things to do/bars/restaurants /shops. Great beaches cleaned every night /ports/towns. Good tourist information centre.
Reception not manned all day but can arrange out of hours entry. No parking at hotel, need to call and unload bags and get a (greatly reduced cost) card for a good car park 10 mins walk away. Room a bit tired but 2 star. Old small lift, 2 people max or 1 person and luggage. Small TV high on wall but good reception for channels and we weren't in much to watch it.

Clean and good sized rooms right on the commercial port. Close to center, nice staff, and easy access.
Bed wasn’t too confortable. It was pretty noisy as the room was straight next to bars that were playing loud music until 2am.

If you like the ambiance of a yachting and fishing harbor, this is the place to be.
Right in front of the harbor, one one-way street separating you from the rest, located very near to the city center, and less than 100 M of the beach.
If you are on holiday, and you want to enjoy the life in the Sables d'Olonne, this is a good place to be.
I was on business trip, the surroundings are just a bit too loud for me.

Good location
No one at the place on arrival early afternoon - Had to be called by bar worker next door & had to wait outside in the rain for 10 minutes until someone came. We had reserved car parking but it does not state in the particulars that this is a 15 minute walk away from the hotel & to cap it all the card we were given for a preferential rate did not work so we had to pay full price anyway. If anyone is thinking of staying here just park across the road on the quay for 14.60 for 24 hours. You also had to be a contortionist to access the bathroom with the situation of the 2 doors, Apart from this the location is great near all the bars & restaurants

the location and breakfast! Staff very friendly!
Extremely Overrated ! Poor standard of rooms compared with rated! No staff at night I.e. unmanned, feels out of date in view of security.
