In The Heart Of Downtown Salida, The Largest Historic District in Colorado.
Le Speakeasy Condo est situé dans le quartier historique du centre-ville de Salida, CO. L'emplacement permet de rejoindre facilement à pied tous les restaurants et bars du centre-ville. La rivière Arkansas traverse la ville à un pâté de maisons et le parc et l'amphithéâtre du centre-ville sont à portée de voix. Le condo est le deuxième étage récemment rénové d'un bâtiment historique construit en 1899. Venez profiter de notre ville et du début historique de la vie dans les montagnes du Colorado.
L'ensemble du deuxième étage et du pont arrière à l'étage est disponible pour votre séjour. Il y a une cuisine complète pour cuisiner des repas et une baignoire sur pattes antique pour une expérience historique.
Il y a de nombreux restaurants et 2 magasins d'alcools à quelques pâtés de maisons de la porte d'entrée. La musique du parc et des bars voisins peut être appréciée depuis le pont arrière, le parc en eau vive de la rivière Arkansas et la rampe de mise à l'eau sont à un pâté de maisons pour ceux qui sont plaisanciers. L'emplacement est très bien au centre-ville de Salida. Nous sommes juste à côté de Bensons Tavern et la VIctoria Tavern est de l'autre côté de la rue. Si vous êtes excité d'être dans le vif du sujet, alors c'est le bon endroit, si vous êtes un dormeur léger, alors peut-être pas.

Very cute and the beds are so comfortable. The patio is especially nice for enjoying morning coffee or listening to local music in the evening. Can walk to all restaurants and even the river.

What a great place! The speakeasy-themed space absolutely did not disappoint! The walk-up might be ideal for all travelers but it suited us just fine. The beds were wonderful and fans throughout the space with a window unit kept things cool in the middle of July. The back patio was perfect for morning coffee. And if you are there on most Mondays or Saturdays, the bar next door has excellent live music! We will most definitely be back!

We enjoyed a long weekend in Salida. No Artwalk this year, but still fun. Location of this condo is perfect, you can walk to anywhere in downtown Salida from this condo.

The apartment is right in the thick of things, which was perfect since we were there for a bike event. Fun decor heartening back to Prohibition and loved the apartment’s history as a speakeasy. With a lot going on in town, we had some difficulty with parking and had to carry our stuff a few blocks. The streets by the apartment are 2-hour parking and the main public lot across the river says no overnight parking. As long as you’re okay moving your car a few times, it’s not a huge deal.

Great spot, cute rental and we enjoyed ourselves. One thing is there is a bar downstairs that is pretty loud, so if you are not a party person late at night, getting a good night sleep on your agenda, this may not be the place for you. Totally out of the owners control obviously, but worth noting.

This is the best VRBO we have stayed in. It felt like a home-stocked like a home and very comfortable. The history of this actually being a speakeasy and the way it’s decorated is fabulous!
We have family in Howard and Buena Vista so it was a great meeting place.
You can’t beat the location, close to everything.

We were appreciative of all the amenities, location and the historical photos, objects and references we could enjoy while we stayed. The owners were willing to help us when we asked and we were glad we were not asked to do a bunch of cleaning and extra work after we worked so hard all weekend! Beautiful place and fun to stay!

If Salida is the heart of the rockies, then this place is the heart of Salida. Such a cool living space with unique decor that shows the history of the town in a tasteful manner.
Place was clean with everything you could need. Earplugs were provided if the bar noise downstairs got bad. We stayed on 4th of July weekend so knew it might get noisy but it really wasn't that bad.

Four friends on a mountain biking trip. Location right downtown was fantastic: good restaurants, shops, and the river a block away. The condo is very cool - lots of prohibition history, memorabilia on display. Struggled with the Dish network (nobody had any experience with it), parking was a minor challenge because street was blocked off for pedestrian traffic (which was also a positive - sat in chairs in the street every night enjoying the weather and people). Highly recommended!

A wonderfully quirky place for a wonderfully quirky town
Salida has its own independent and quirky streak that really sets it apart from other places in Colorado. The Speakeasy fits that mold perfectly. It's a wonderful place to stay in the heart of downtown. It places you with easy walking distance of restaurants, places to wet your whistle, wonderful ice cream, easy access to the river, and places to rent/buy any kind of outdoor equipment you might want. Julie is a wonderful host who strives to make every stay as comfortable as possible.

A lot of TLC was added to this experience through the interior of the Speakeasy!! Very comfortable and relaxing apartment and cute deck off the back with a great view of the mountains. Located in the Heart of Salida and walking distance to the Arkansas River and downtown area. Would certainly recommend and share this with others!

My Mom, brother and I stayed here during the Fibark fest, and it was the perfect location. We even got to enjoy nightly music from the bar next door. The place was spacious and had a cool speakeasy history. Walkable to everything, comfy beds, and great little patio.

What a wonderful family vacation where the atmosphere is beautiful and our condo had everything we needed. Between games for the kids, having the ability to cook and do our laundry it is definitely a place I would return to. Julie was accommodating and checked in to assure we had everything we needed.

The Perfect Place!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon week and we had the best time. The location is perfect and you can walk anywhere in Downtown you'd like! The manager was easy to get in contact with and the entire place was so cute and spacious. We definitely want to go back. 10/10 recommend!

Right on the main restaurant/bar street (F street) - only drawback is when you leave open the bedroom windows in summer you'll get a lot of noise at night.
