Excellent unit in an older but well maintained and secure condo. The photos are accurate; great views and right on the Malecon. Unit is large; and nice to have 3 bathrooms!. Safe building; friendly guards and nice to have gated entrance. Really responsive property manager and owner. 100% recommend!

We have been coming to PV for 28 years and have stayed in all kinds of properties. If you like the hustle and busyness of the Malecon and love the dining choices of the Romantic Zone, then this is the perfect spot. The property is exactly as described and the balcony is the largest we’ve ever had. Safe, secure, and comfortable are the three words that stand out most in my mind. Just pure joy.

Lovely place with a HUGE veranda. Clean quiet pool. Guards and neighbors were extremely friendly. A little loud but would stay again. Very convenient location

Million dollar views and the unit is very clean and equipped with everything needed, down to a pair of binoculars for dolphin/whale viewing. Well furnished with high end touches thru out, plus the Property Manager and gate guards were wonderful!! Highly recommend this unit, it was fun to people watch from the balcony and watch the sunsets and moonrise. We will be back again soon. Thank you for taking care of us.

We had a lovely stay. There were a few weather challenges. This hurricane Lydia had come through the day before we arrived. The host had people on site to make sure everything was running well. And checked in on us to make sure we are OK. The condo itself was beautiful and the website description is accurate.

We had a wonderful time, the property was beautiful. There are many things within walking distance and the sunsets on the patio were spectacular. Highly recommended!

This property was awesome. Beautiful sunsets every night. The lay out felt like 2 masters as both bedrooms had a king. It was clean and well stocked with anything you would need. The property manager was very welcoming as well.

We had an excellent 7 night stay in Michel’s penthouse condo. There was so much room inside and out to enjoy the amazing view. We greatly appreciated the AC units that quickly cooled the rooms down each time we returned from being out and about. Our daughters shared the 2nd bedroom and enjoyed having the choice of 3 different showers to use throughout the week. The washer/dryer within the unit ended up coming in handy, we were very grateful to have it. The front, master bedroom had a comfy bed, ceiling fan, ice cold AC along with the incredible view of Banderas Bay. The ability to walk most places and enjoy many of the local restaurants was exactly what we were looking for. Traveling with our younger daughters, we felt very safe out in the neighborhood as well as with the secure entrance and smiling faces of the guards. We will definitely be recommending and hopefully returning some day!

We didn't even want to leave because it was so cozy and pleasant. And there are many little areas to read or nap or just watch the waves. It was surprisingly quiet considering how central it is. We would definitely return.

We had an amazing time at your house and will be renting it again. We met some really great people while we were there and look forward to returning. It was nice to be downtown and in a walkable area. As we were 2 women traveling we felt so safe with the security 24/7.

We had a wonderful stay, it's quite the experience to fall asleep and wake up at the rumbling of crashing waves. I absolutely loved the peace and quiet in the condo, ideal to relax and chill. We didn’t experience any annoying noise, there was just the bustle of people walking on the Malecon. Also, we didn't have any problem with the shower's blinds in the master bedroom, they were just fine. The property manager Sassia was right there to meet us as we arrived, she was welcoming and polite. The condo's view of the ocean and its location are just amazing, and everything is within a short walk, shops, restaurants and bars. The condo was clean and orderly, attention was paid to detail and style. Definitely will be coming back!

Property is clean. AC works well. Great views. Safe/good building security. Doorman Alfredo is very welcoming and makes coming “ home” just great. Prompt communication with owner; on site property manager helpful with issues. Convenient location with beautiful views but noisy, especially at night. Noise from the bars, restaurants, malecon can be too much. Steady drum beat regularly past 11pm, partying even later on Friday night. Shower in master lacks privacy - you’re visible by other members of your group sitting outside patio. Shades could fix this. Sound of the ocean in the morning is soothing and lovely. Suggest moving the 2nd bedroom bed against the other wall so someone in bed there can enjoy the fabulous view.

Michel's condo exceeded our expectations! Hands-down it was the most relaxing and enjoyable experience we've had in Mexico. And what a difference it makes staying somewhere with actual local culture rather than a Cancun-type vibe. The condo is located perfectly in between various neighborhoods, making just about anything in Centro/Zona Romantica/5th de Deciembre an easy walk. The vibe of the condo is cozy and welcoming. The view is even better than what you'd expect from the pictures. And Michel is a total pleasure to deal with. I'm not kidding about the view. It's stunning. One day my wife and I also spotted whales, thanks to a friendly neighbor letting us know they were out front. We'll be coming back for sure. The energy, the food, the weather, the people; it was all fantastic. Can't recommend this listing enough. : )

Everything about this condo is as the description states. If you want a very quiet get away...not for you. But if you want to experience the vibrancy, hospitality, and joyful exuberance of the Mexican culture, this is it. That, coupled with the roar of the ocean's waves crashing on the Malecon, it combines both worlds. Both people watching from the decks or participating.

Best view, best people-watching, best restaurants nearby (one of them downstairs). If I could post pictures, I'd post one of a spectacular sunset. I keep saying I won't take anymore sunset photos because I have hundreds from that spot, but I can't help myself. Lots of whale activity this year!

This is a terrific place to stay in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Great ocean balcony with views all around. Host superb. Communication great. Totally as advertised. Loved staying here.

This location of this property is awesome. Right on the Malecon, in the thick of the action with amazing restaurants within walking distance. The 180 degree pan aroma view from the balcony were to die for, especially during the sublime sunsets. Hosts were super responsive and we loved every minute of it :-)

Another amazing vacation in Puerto Vallarta at Penthouse of the Dolphin! What a beautiful condo and ocean front view.

We are very experienced international travellers (work and pleasure) who, along with another couple, rented the Penthouse of the Dolphins in November 2022. We were simply amazed with every aspect of this VRBO. It is located in the city centra, right on the ocean and on the Malecon. The massive penthouse deck provides magnificent 180+degree views of the ocean and bay. Penguins and Frigate birds repeated fly within a couple of feet of the balcony railing. Dolphins and even an Orca whale jumped right in front of our balcony yards from the shoreline. There is an abundance of fine restaurants, pubs, shops and artesanias in the immediate area. Most importantly, we were so impressed by the design, condition, and quality of the Penthouse. Not just the physical aspects of the high ceiling unit, but all the thought that went into its quality furnishings and expensive and tasteful decorations. It is obvious that the host (Michel Rubini) has put his heart and soul into this unit. We were greatly appreciative of the washer and dryer in the unit, the cold beverages in the fridge, and all of the complete quality cooking and dining necessities and condiments. There were many nice personal touches we have not found elsewhere. We loved the roof top swimming pool steps from our doors along with all the pool accessories and furniture. The building is very secure with a 24-hr security guard at the entrance. There was not a single thing we could possibly recommend to Michel to make his rental better. He has covered all the bases and more! His quick and personal and helpful communication to any questions we had was exemplary and much appreciated. He ensured that our checking in and adjusting to our stay was made easy by having his daughter-in-law Sassia meet us to guide us in and showing us how everything worked and answering any questions we had. She was delightful, informative and caring. We would not hesitate to return next year or recommend Michel to any of our family and friends.

We had the most amazing time in Puerto Vallarta in large part to staying at The Penthouse of the Dolphins. The condo was incredible and so was the location! We ate at different restaurants every night, shopped to our heart’s content and enjoyed every minute in the pool. We are definitely going to come back next year!

Penthouse of the Dolphins was incredible. Our host was very accommodating and very quick to respond on any of our questions. They were flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was very helpful, due to our late flight departure. The condo was very clean and had every necessity for our 8 night stay. We had one issue that needed to be resolved, they were there within a couple hours, and had it quickly repaired. The condo was very spacious, with two very nice size bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. There was a third bathroom/powder room off of the shared living area. This did come in handy, as there were four people staying in the condo. there was a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to do any meal or drink preparation, if you choose. The entrance to the building is controlled by a guard, who buzzes you in and out each time, you get to know them, as well as them knowing you. Gives you a very good sense of security. The Centro / Malecón neighborhood outside the condo had a lot of dining options with a small market within very short walking distance. It was quiet when you were in the condo, once out on the balcony, you could see, feel and experience the energy of the nightly Malecón (Boardwalk). The condo was within 100 feet of the beach, as well as easy access to walking the touristy Malecón boardwalk. As for getting around PV, you could get a taxi within a minute which could buzz you away to many places. There are metro bus lines, but we did not explore. This is definitely the perfect place to stay in Centro Puerto Vallarta.

"Oh my God! What a fantastic & relaxing vacation...There are no photos than can do justice to your home! We had an absolute blast. I think we actually spent 50% of our time on the terrace or in the pool! The dolphins were fishing & playing constantly & came so close to the shoreline! With our group being a good bit immobilized between injuries & conditions, we still managed to take the ATV Jungle- River tour for 3 1/2 hours which I think was our favorite. It was worth it as a Dad just to see my son smile so much having a great time. He has been so sad since his neurosurgery, and the trip was just the perfect ticket to lift his spirits. Also we really got caught up in doing our own nightly taco tasting. We are now addicted to the Tacos Carnitas "Al Pastor" style, and just couldn't get enough. Panchos Tacos was our hands down winner, with several others; (Sonoritas Olas Altos & Pepe's ), a close 2nd & 3rd place. We opted for dinner downstairs right on the ground floor one evening for their amazing Filet Mignon served with the Chefs green peppercorn sauce. Sadly, we returned to Panchos for one last time to discover they are closed briefly for remodeling. ** Michel does an amazing job with a local information book guiding you to best places to shop, get groceries, and a couple favorite restaurants. The funniest part was in spite of all your warnings about the airport "gauntlet", Joy still managed to get sidetracked by a salesman when I turned my back for 1 minute...hahaha- no harm done though as I cut it short and escorted her by the hand to the correct taxi stand. Most impressive also was just the overall economical cost compared to the states. Thank you so much Michel, I am certain you will be hearing from us again." The Tino Gang

We had such an amazing time staying in this property - I loved the layout of the two rooms being on opposite sides. The patios are amazing! Watched awesome lightning storms and dolphins on the last morning (so grateful!). The AC worked perfectly and WAS needed. The pool might have been our favorite part. Sassia was there on arrival and always available. The guards were maybe my second favorite. All so nice and friendly, good laughs every day and night. Not that big of a deal but one of the beds was pretty hard (maybe could use a memory foam topper?). Thank you Michel and Sassia! I will be back!!!

We tremendously enjoyed our stay at the Penthouse of the Dolphins. PV was so much fun and the house was a perfect location. There were several bars, restaurants, and shopping galore right outside your door which we took advantage of. We also loved going to Rythym oh the Nights, beach days and a day of chartered fishing on the ocean. Michel is a wonderful host and was quick to get back to me with any questions I had. His hospitality was exceptional and meeting Sassia made it that much more personable. She is a sweetheart. Thank you again for everything!! I highly recommend his beautiful condo,

Our stay was perfect for our family of four. The location was excellent. We looked down onto the Malecon, prime location and we’re a five minute walk to the romantic zone. The pool had a great view and was very clean. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We had a great time at the Penthouse of the Dolphins. Location is perfect. It’s on the Malecon, ocean front. We could hear the waves every night. Penthouse is spacious and spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The property manager, Sassia is very kind and helpful. The owner Michel is extremely responsive and gave us detailed instructions for check in. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this place and hopefully we’ll be back soon.

We absolutely loved it! It was the perfect VRBO for us! We anticipate staying there for many years to come. This wonderful home is in the heart of the vibrant Puerto Vallarta scene. Ocean swimming is just a quick walk away and the roof top pool is the perfect temperature and very relaxing. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us.

I have absolutely NO complaints whatsoever about this property. It is AS ADVERTISED which is something I see less and less of in the world we now live in and for that we thank you! This is the perfect location nestled in the heart (Centro) of Puerto Vallarta. It is beachfront as promised, located right on the historic Malecon and close to all the local shops, restaurants, water taxis, and best of all the street food. The ~ 270-degree views from the balconies are incredible displaying the tranquil shoreline and plush verdant mountains that appear to rise up from behind. And to top it off at the end of the afternoon is the awe-inspiring sunsets that you see in all the postcards and movies. The property manager, Sassia, is amazing, very accommodating and ella es muy hermosa. She met us upon arrival at the property and welcomed us with much love and respect. The property owner, Michel, reached out to us prior to departure and furnished us with everything we needed to seamlessly check in, including maps of the town, directions to the property and advice on the best transportation from the airport. Michel also reached out to us when we returned home wanting to know if everything was to our satisfaction and it certainly was! I wanted to give a special shout out to the guards. They are awesome. We really appreciated the hospitality shown to us by Augustine and one other guard who really stuck out but I can't remember his name. Either way they were all awesome and so friendly! Please take care of your guards!! They are responsible for your security and do an excellent job seeing to it.
