We loved the atmosphere and location

Some of the staff were unfriendly, breakfast was quite poor in item variety and quality, more generally it did not meet the expectations for the category of the accommodation.

A good-size cabin in a complex that blends into the rainforest. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfasts and excellent dinners. Throw in a couple of real swimming holes in the local creek. How could one want more?

This is not a luxury resort that pretends to fit in with nature - it had everything that I need or desire from an ecological and personal perspective.

I was thrilled to discover a resort in the heart of the Daintree Forest. The rooms were tidy and spacious, offering a comfortable stay. On The Turps restaurant had a charming décor that matched the surroundings, and the food and service were excellent. The staff was helpful and attentive throughout my stay. Heritage Lodge is a must-visit for nature lovers seeking a tranquil getaway.

if you need good aircon, this isn’t for you. we stayed in April and it was very warm at nights even with the small aircon unit on constantly.

Wonderful accommodation in the rainforest, with pristine swimming holes. Highly recommend!

old style air conditioner is very noisy- difficult to hear dvd while air con on.
