The property was in a less touristy area than expected, so that was very enjoyable. The room was very large and clean. There were many good and cheap restaurants nearby and the bus stop was right at the door. The manager, Tin Tin, was very helpful and friendly and also runs a travel agency, very convenient for booking various trips.

The property was right at a very busy roundabout where 5 large roads meet - so it was rather noisy for the front room that I had. So my balcony was rather useless, too noisy to sit outside. But there are also rooms at the back of the building, which are quieter, but not by much.

The place was very clean and the proprietor was friendly. The balcony in my room faced onto the back of a huge sign but they did move me to a different room. The room was fine but the peeling wallpaper, the hole in the ceiling and the difficulty in getting plugs into outlets was not good. It took a while to find because it is not where google maps say it is.

The location is so amazing and TinTin, the owner, is such a nice person! Very helpful, fun and patience. The also rent out motorbikes (scooters) - top scooters with good helmets and at a super competitive price!

I could hear the morning commute traffic, because the hotel has the best location at the main roundabout in Chalong, Phuket.
