Such a cute guesthouse and Renee “host” was lovely, fantastic kitchen
Would have like access to bottled water and on first arriving a mosquito coil was burning veranda doorway filling up the rooms which triggered my asthma

Despite vey wet weather, all went well because of the standard of accomodation and the flexibility of the owner

Excellent location. Nice charm about the building.
Rooms could do with some refreshing. I appreciate it is a heritage building but still could be improved. The mozzies were particularly bad during our stay but they had plenty of sprays and coils and citronella on hand. I didn’t get bitten.

It was exceptional having a separate breakfast room facility, outdoor eating area, comfy verandah seating, and clothes drying racks. Far more enjoyable than being confined to a room. And I didn't mind the exercise - going up and down the stairs. Loved the shower and the bathroom decor.
Getting the car out of the car parking space next door was tricky.

Very well placed for the beach very tasteful rooms breakfast was self serve but good selection of cereals juice coffee and tea. Lots of nice personal touches with games books etc even beach towels.

Heritage Guesthouse was fantastic. The rooms are spacious, it was clean and had everything you’d need in a great location. We particularly loved sitting out on our table on the balcony and the courtyard where you could have breakfast.

Was very convenient having a light breakfast available so we could just get on the road.
No lift so you’ve got to carry heavy suitcases (if you have them) up the stairs.

This guesthouse was great! The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. She was also flexible with my later check in. The room was a good size with a good shower. The breakfast spread in the morning genuinely the best I had all holiday. There was plenty of choice with drinks and then breakfast foods: cereals, toast, yoghurts, fruit.

Lovely historic house in a perfect location. Very nicely appointed. Help yourself breakfast, tea and coffee in the kitchen. friendly staff.
The room was not large enough to have anywhere to sit, but there was seating on the verandah and patio.

This is a great place to stay in the laidback beach town of South West Rocks
It’s a heritage property as the name suggests so a little musty and definitely not a luxury stay, but immaculately clean, with character and many thoughtful touches
And right next to the best cafe in town
I’m definitely staying here again
The property is for sale so check if it’s under new management before you book but I’d suggest to any new manager not to change a thing!

Lovely ‘heritage’ building decked out with traditional furnishings. It felt very authentic, rooms felt decadent. Bed was large and comfortable, everything very clean and tidy. Location right across from the beach, lovely evenings on the verandah. My English in-laws were thrilled.

We can’t speak highly enough of Heritage Guesthouse. Renee was lovely and so easy to organise things with and gave us an upgrade to a better room when there was a cancellation! The location is right across the road from the beach and outside the guesthouse was a yummy cafe. Close to lots of amazing spots easy to get to. Great pubs and dinner places and national parks in walking distances

Comfortable room at the back of the Guesthouse, close to the kitchen facilities. Continental breakfast items supplied which was great. Guesthouse is located across the road from the beach and close to shops and cafes.
