It was exceptional having a separate breakfast room facility, outdoor eating area, comfy verandah seating, and clothes drying racks. Far more enjoyable than being confined to a room. And I didn't mind the exercise - going up and down the stairs. Loved the shower and the bathroom decor.

Getting the car out of the car parking space next door was tricky.

Heritage Guesthouse was fantastic. The rooms are spacious, it was clean and had everything you’d need in a great location. We particularly loved sitting out on our table on the balcony and the courtyard where you could have breakfast.

Was very convenient having a light breakfast available so we could just get on the road.

No lift so you’ve got to carry heavy suitcases (if you have them) up the stairs.

This guesthouse was great! The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. She was also flexible with my later check in. The room was a good size with a good shower. The breakfast spread in the morning genuinely the best I had all holiday. There was plenty of choice with drinks and then breakfast foods: cereals, toast, yoghurts, fruit.

Lovely historic house in a perfect location. Very nicely appointed. Help yourself breakfast, tea and coffee in the kitchen. friendly staff.

The room was not large enough to have anywhere to sit, but there was seating on the verandah and patio.

This is a great place to stay in the laidback beach town of South West Rocks It’s a heritage property as the name suggests so a little musty and definitely not a luxury stay, but immaculately clean, with character and many thoughtful touches And right next to the best cafe in town I’m definitely staying here again

The property is for sale so check if it’s under new management before you book but I’d suggest to any new manager not to change a thing!

Great location & very quite...

Lovely ‘heritage’ building decked out with traditional furnishings. It felt very authentic, rooms felt decadent. Bed was large and comfortable, everything very clean and tidy. Location right across from the beach, lovely evenings on the verandah. My English in-laws were thrilled.

We can’t speak highly enough of Heritage Guesthouse. Renee was lovely and so easy to organise things with and gave us an upgrade to a better room when there was a cancellation! The location is right across the road from the beach and outside the guesthouse was a yummy cafe. Close to lots of amazing spots easy to get to. Great pubs and dinner places and national parks in walking distances
